Neighbour strikes boy over ‘drunkard’ name-calling
Pla Simon replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Walking sticks and stones. Could have been worse. The child should consider himself lucky that grandpa didn't have 3 of his drinking buddies with him... -

Video evidence: Thai monk gropes sleeping passenger’s breasts
Pla Simon replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Maybe just seeking universal truths by having a Jodrell - the enlightenment of Harry Monk. Getting off on a 67 Year old ? Is this peculiar / particular sin to be known as a granny "bap" ? -
US Embassy Refuses to Pay £14.6m London Congestion Charge Bill
Pla Simon replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Not really - this model was adopted from Singapore. I would imagine most of that figure is non payment levies - between 5-11 times the actual tariff. Probably to grow exponentially, thanks to the conceited, vindictive little <deleted> in office. -
Yeah - minus the everything.

Man murders drinking friend with concrete block after argument
Pla Simon replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Surin is renowned for hard core drinking - usually the old seezip is at fault. That and a bit of yaba for good measure. I live in Ta tum district - rife with it here. After being tw*tted with a concrete block, I'm sure he passed the slump test. -
1,882 new COVID-19 hospitalisations and 16 deaths in the last week
Pla Simon replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Fear mongering and conspiracy done to death, not for me thanks. Oh, go on then. I find it strange that selective historic topics cannot be accessed anymore - from source. Flip flop back pedaling ? It's a shame all the uneducated / unsourced opinions and advice from those times can't be untaken. I'll leave you all to it. -
Bangkok Chaos: Pickup Plummets From 4/FL Hospital Car Park
Pla Simon replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
I've seen worse. -
And proxy of the moment, Baloo, with his perfectly fashioned eyebrows feigning perpetual surprise. What's that you say ? Really ? Ever worsening seasonal air pollution ? Ever worsening seasonal flood mitigation ? Ever worsening seasonal water shortages, potable or otherwise ? Ever worsening environmental damage ? Ever worsening social divide / educational standards ? Nevermind, at least we're allocating 500 billion to deflective hush money handouts, whilst appropriating hundreds of billions more for hubs and the like - hang the cost that your children will bear - monetarily, health and otherwise. You know it makes sense.

Yes, and a carwash, and a bar. Met "Khom" on a couple of hookup sites - she's on many. Phoned her a couple of times. I spoke Thai and Khmer with her, her English is ok. Presents herself as a successful entrepreneur, business degree, travelled etc, looking for a husband to have a baby with.. She looked hot, back in her Pattaya days. lost touch with her, as likes to engage in cheap psychology / falsehood. Tried the passport / retirement visa on me. Good chicken, apparently.

I went into the branch the day before, to make sure. I took a photo of the conditions, and confirmed verbally with a staff member. As you walk in, the first table in front of you has the conditions printed in English, under a glass worktop - I may have the photo on my laptop. I'll have a look. Passport / visa. He was maybe 9 Months into a 1 Year rental agreement. Numerous forms signed. All very straightforward - nice service. Notably long queue waiting times.

After trying multiple recommendations earlier in the forum, almost gave up for good. Ordered 20g of Bubblegum XL recently. More than impressed for 30b/g. Tried to order more, but stock finished. Consequently have ordered 5g of each 11 varieties, so as to narrow down 1 good hybrid, 1 sativa, 1 indica. - replaced Bubblegum with Orange Kush Cake, which was not on menu, but a 50/50 same. Will turn up later today - will try to review variety / experience after thorough research has been conducted. Best bang for buck online supplier for me, and best recommendation so far.

As a tourist, Bangkok Bank in Central Marina will open an account for you, based on meeting fairly straightforward criteria. Rental agreement. Passport with valid tourist visa. Although queues and waiting times can be long - Friendly and efficient service awaits for Thai and non Thai speakers alike, regardless of dresscode. I recently helped a tourist friend open an account there, with no more than an atm card fee and 200 thb in the account - wasted time sampling the idiosyncratic delights and policies other Bkk branches had to offer - got a straight 'no' at one branch - a rather flustered manageress who couldn't take having her Thai authority and logic challenged in her mother tongue at a second, and another wanted to sell an insurance policy at around 8,000 thb for the account. It's worth noting these other branches are perfectly capable of opening accounts easily, and were recommended by the Central Festival branch, as they were nearer to Pratumnak. It made for eyerolling and laughter as I told them of my experiences and adventures.

Will you be using anything other than ignominious, gutter rhetoric ?

Bangkok shrouded in mysterious smog late Wednesday night
Pla Simon replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Whereas before it was not to be sniffed at, perhaps it's a pervasive, slowly smouldering resentment, arisen from all the burning issues and questions that fall on the deaf ears of a false dichotomy. I doubt it will ever be the detritus of the obsequious nor rapacious, burning social media martyrs. -
Monks’ brawl during ceremony sparks debate in Surat Thani
Pla Simon replied to snoop1130's topic in Southern Thailand News
I see no irony here anymore - Just another in a long list of 'blows to the temple', instigated by monks... -
No idea. I personally don't use border run services / agents in Thailand, nor have any vested interests in either. I drive everywhere myself and make my own way here, as I have done for many Years. Depending on means and perspective, one might ask what's V.I.P. about any minibus ride, regardless of seating configuration. You asked me a direct question, and I'm reiterating information that I went out of my way to ask my friend to send me, so that I could answer you, without agenda. Is that enough of an explanation for you ? I do hope so.

I just got the info - 9 seater V.I.P. Friend was very happy with the service.

TR Visa 60days Savannahket
Pla Simon replied to Stevey's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Sounds like a plan. Forget Savannakhet - you'll be wasting your time and money for tuck. I only speak from experience, and bear in mind I had a zx81, and spectrums 16, 48 and 128k. Be Lucky.
