^^^ The Chiang Mai airport cab system is surprisingly professional and efficient!...

You go to the counter where there are english speakers who determine your destination and writes it on your slip in Thai... You pay them (a standard price based on distance) and receive a slip... You go outside and a taxi is selected - you hand him the slip and you are off...

A lot easier than making a U turn on Neimanheiman :sleepy:

There is no such thing as a u turn on Nimman.ever thought the guy might be going some were else in his car and just having a one night stop in cnx.

As mentioned u-turn can be problematic at certains of the day. IMHO you would be better travelling another 500M past the u-turn to the traffic lights where there is a filter for turning.

Got that wrong illegal to do u turn at nimman junction if coming huay kaew road turn right traffic lights at maya next traffic lights do u turn  there is a filter Lane there at them traffic lights.do same route twice a day.

Well, no, there are only like four ways to do a 90 day report that I'm aware of:

    1.  Pay a visa agent to do them for you

    2.  Go do them in person so you have the fun of reporting on Thai visa what's the best time-of-day/day-of-the-week to rock into Imm.

    3.  Report by post  (Incidentally, does anyone know if the address changed with the move to @Prom?)

    4.  Report online following carefully curated directions handed down to us by the ever-wise Tywais in the pinned thread at the top of this forum on an ancient laptop that is retained in the household just for this purpose (i.e. the "Lucky Laptop", purchased in 2006).  None of our newer devices have any "luck" with the Imm. reporting system.  You do know that computer years at like dog years and this poor laptop is now very elderly, right?

And get some one u know do it for you with your permission of course. Don't think carrier pigeon works now days.

The missus and I shared a platter of fish & chips from Rustic & Blue on Nimman 7 the other day. While not traditional take-away F&C, it was the best one I can remember having in Thailand by a mile.

Yes good food there very tasty bit small portions but excellent value for cost.
