To the rest of the world) calling our modern cities and towns "civilised"...are places where people are murdered, raped, assaulted, cheated etc. on a daily basis.

From let's say' a liberal point of viewing nature as civilised...where animals only kill for food or defending what is theirs...they don't rob, they don't carry guns, they don't cheat, they don't judge. This advice has me confused. In a normal part of the world diseased corpses such as dead infected animals would be incinerated definitely not buried so casually since this creates a very dangerous situation with infections. Why such petty information is delved out to protect the public at large is really outrageous. It's so dark ages !!!

It's become relatively apparent that someone is extracting the Michael with our very limited access to topics that take so long to open, it becomes off putting awaiting the chance to post any opinions. After clicking a new OP it never starts at the beginning and one must try to decipher a route backwards to enable yourself to read other TV members posts. After these somewhat tedious tasks find myself losing interest. What's happening to get this very annoying innuendo back on track!!

it definitely will be a quiet one, it has already been reported that no big or public countdown events will take place - as for XMas, it is not really a Thai festival as we know, though Thais still like the decoration without understanding much of what XMas actually means. I am sure this decoration everywhere in shopping malls for example will be toned down a lot as well, or completely missing this year

What a wonderful outlook to this years Christmas & New Year celebrations . The kids will be overjoyed the birds will be so harmonious. Santa will be unemployed.

Can't wait !!!!!

I don't think so. We should do a comparison with NZ, where prostitution is now a legit, taxable occupation. There isn't 6000 baht difference, in fact, depending on who you get, it's probably more expensive here than over in NZ.
