I'm a hotel owner in Laos. 90% of tourist arrivals into Laos come via Thailand (mainly Suvarnaphoum) as its transit hub, so this decision is a further blow to the 1,000s of hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and all their employees that have lost their jobs since March. In all honesty, I believe Laos will turn its back to TH and start looking towards Viet Nam as a transit hub. Its important to know that decisions made by TH also severely and directly affect all regional neighbours. Fingers crossed.

It probably has more to do with the Chinese relationship than anything else. ????
Yes, I agree. Also, the impressive ‘figures’ produced will be scrutinised along with a bit of diplomatic gamesmanship. That aside...it is a surprise to the ruling class here.

You have clearly never used this facility which is happening at more and more offices. Very efficient and very little delay. No documentation other than current 90 day report and passport.
The fries comment was lame 12 months ago when these improvements were initiated. i suggest you use your time at home to come up with more original material.

Surely immigration knows where these passengers went to from their arivals cards,. Why do they not contact trace them and test them, with repeat testing done to confirm any negative results, along with self quarantine.
Yes, you’d expect a level of common sense. Assume they landed and stayed in Thailand, should be straightforward.

I've seen enough little hospitals here when I had to visit sick people and I also know how incompetent many of these doctors and nurses are.
Are you a real doctor or nurse?

Luckily most farangs only have sex with locals. "American Red Dick and Hungary Kata" were purely show names. Real names were actually Billy Bob Black & Pattaraporn Natthakonlanon.

I tend to agree with Aussieroaming above. Here is an English Dictionary definition of rape................
rape

[reyp]ExamplesWord OriginSee more synonyms for rape on Thesaurus.com
noun- unlawful sexual intercourse or any other sexual penetration of the vagina, anus, or mouth of another person, with or without force, by a sex organ, other body part, or foreign object, without the consent of the victim.
Agree...but Thai translation shifts the emphasis. As you’d expect!

“It definitely felt like a cult, he put a spell over us and people had completely blind trust in him and his spiritual powers,” one woman told the Guardian.
Fools.
“Definitely felt like a cult”. How would you know?
“...put a spell over us”. So you remember?
”..spiritual powers”. Drugs and alcohol.
I personally know many who have attended this place...and they would refute such tales...

I got them from the seat headrest, nowhere else, and that WAS on a Thai plane, nowhere else. Perhaps you should do a little research before you comment.
It’s not impossible to catch them from a headrest etc. though it is uncommon. You can’t be certain in any case.
