  1. Sometimes the cheap screw in threads on the socket don't make for good contact.
  2. For us old people....it's new and great each time. ????
  3. Our old mechanical electricity meter has been replaced with a newish electronic meter type EMS12J. On the meter is written 5(100) A. I can't find much info. on the meter, but if the 5 (100)Amp. has the same meaning as our Isaan house meter 15 (45) A, then the Pattaya house can draw up to a probable 100 A. So if a 5(15)A mechanical meter is replaced with a 5 (100)A electronic meter, then the only thing limiting your house current use is the size of your feed cables. Does this seem correct?
  4. See where they get their water from. Do they pump from underground? See if the basement ground has sunk. Also look for rusty rebar where the plaster has fallen off. Not saying this is totally bad but ...good to know. Plaster or mortar gives those red bricks their strength I think..
  5. Time is relative. When he said that I was using a teletypwriter, writing a very simple program that took the room full of transfomers and large vaccume tubes about 2 minuites to give the answer. Amazing as it was watching tubes go on and off, impossible was it to predict today's storage capabilities. ????
  6. Thanks. I found my origional place I had it installed. New camera ordered.
  7. I need a new car reversing light setup. I used to get this type of work done at a 4 Wheel drive accessory shop on Sukumvit near the overpass, but can't find it now. Anyone got directions to a good reversing light installer?
  8. I'm glad and impressed you're taking the time to keep your fluid intake up. ????
  9. Results back from blood test and also test for stomach cancer...all in spec. My routine is slowely getting back to what it was in the past will hatdly any pains, and toilet in the morning. So after I ingested all that fish poo, then 2 weeks antibiotics, stomach acid inhibitors 1 month, now 2 months later maybe OK. Will still get the camera tests but maybe wait till I get back to Changwat Kalasin.
  10. I think, those antennas alone, with viewable reception from 60 or 70 km would be with the sun shining from the East, wind blowing from the North, moon rising in the West and dog barking out the back. ????
  11. No think the thermal printer is the way to go. ????
  12. That's my lovely wifey's 'writing on the switches effort' a few years ago. Still the last pre-covid tenants left the place in a mess.
  13. @PR3the people on the solar thread are brilliant and free. ???? If you don't know then you can save all these conversations by hitting the 3 dots button, then share, then send it to your email address. That's what I'm doing until ready for a solar project. ????
  14. I can't remember anyway. ????
  15. With many thanks to @CrossyI would like to purchase a Thermal Printer for making house power switch labels. Something like the picture. Anyone know where I can buy one local please? I don't have time to wait for Lazada delivery.
