That also was a horrible accident. I went and looked at all the burnt out cars etc they removed from that accident. They had them parked on the side of a road (can't remember which road). What a mess.

That was a horrible day. But the worst part is they just rebuilt the burnt out shell. How can that building be safe? Every time this comes up there is never an answer to who was prosecuted over this? Every thing goes quiet. People have tried to investigate those responsible but then ...quiet. When I book into a hotel I check out the fire escape right to the outside as some have access to the lower level but locked going the outside. One trip to Banggers and the outside fire escape door was locked, and the receptkon said "if you don't like it stay somewhere else". This was a long time ago, maybe things have changed.

peterfranks it's a horrible job but doable. As sometimewoodworker said, a picture would help. I had a few leaks with pipes inside the cavity wall inside kitchen copboards after my house build plumbers finished. Just take the cupboard doors and hinges completely off, get some good lighting, a fan (hot under the sink inside a cupboard), a tool to scrape out the grout and a big drill. You'll probably break the tiles ....be patient and saying 'f***' a lot and blaming the Mrs helps. ????

If the tap supplies both hot and cold water, open up the hot water only for a while heating the joint and try undoing the tap with the wrench again. Somehow try and make the joint hot while trying to remove the tap. Sorry that's all I can think of. Maybe better saying 'OK the tap is going to break and what's the easiest way I can get it out and replace it'.

I worked for a company that painted nearly everything in Battleship Grey. So when it came time to respray my FJ Holden, it's colour was not quite Battleship Grey. ????

Bought some acrylic and primer in a spray can. Can says it's good paint for everything, so it must work ????

Thanks. Trouble is I have to bend it round the fence with the water pipe and that pipe is not flexible enough. I looked up painting PVC kn Google and some said use water paint, use oil based paint, don't use acrylic, use acrylic, all over the place. Sometimewoodworker is usually right so I bought acrylic and primer spray can. See what happens. ????
