So all that money has gone without any improvement !!!

Someone's cutting costs. "storing" medical waste at a landfill is such a lie. Timely incineration is the only way and any storage should be in refrigerated trucks, especially in this climate. But then again I was used to working to international standards, which seem to be ignored in Thailand.

The young men simply learnt not to,take drugs a few days before the test. Those that were caught are stupid.

Next one will be South Africa. Only a matter of time.

The certification process to international standards is itself not free from "influence". Inventing their own standards is doubly, if not even more so, open to question. Good PR stunt, but the proof will be in the actual enforcement of the standards and the "untouchables" who certify compliance to those standards.

Saw him on the TV yesterday. Extra long sleeves on his shirt. So how many of the watches has he returned ?

This has got to be a St Paddy's day bit of fun.

I see many drivers AND motorcylists using mobile phones and the latest video showing the nurse being hit by a car while waiting at tracfic lights suggests the driver was doing just that. Using mobile phones, especially texting while driving, should recieve a serious penalty. To pick on just one aspect of bad driving, i.e. drunk driving, won't solve the problem EVEN IF IT WERE TO BE ENFORCED.

Coal fires are banned in most towns and cities. Most coal fired power stations have either closed or converted to gas. So what is the cause of all this air pollution. I guess trucks and cars are major contributers. Luckly it rains frequently. Could always blame fast-food shops which seem to smell from 100 of yards away.

Does this apply if you go to renew an existing licence ?

Actions not words are needed.

I suspect it may be cement washings from the site, which would explain the milky colour. A simple pH test would confirm if that was the cause ( cement is caustic).

I see they are trying to blame tourists and neighbouring countries for the garbage in the sea and playing down the fact that Thailand is ranked the 6th worse plastic polluter of the world's oceeans.

I thought this man's time was up after watchgate, but he has been very vocal of late, so I guess his reasons for having 25 luxury watches have been accepted. Along with his tailor lengthening his sleeves.

I refused to eat fish caught in the Irish Sea because of the radioactive waste that was being pumped out, especially from Sellafied. Likewise I will not (knowingly) eat Japanese fish.

They need an effective waste management system in place first. No use waiting for the beaches and hinterland to be grossly polluted with human trash before deciding to take action ( hold a meeting 555).

The words "watching" and " working round the clock" used in the report made me think a certain little fat General was involved. Maybe the big pharmacutical companies will show their appreciation to certain government ministers.

After days of thick haze here, the rain came for 2 days and cleared the air for a few hours. The next day the "black snow" appeared and has been getting worse over the following 2 days. I've also noticed many rice paddies are being burnt before the real rain comes.

It the International court came out on the side of Bolivia it would open a huge can of worms. Think how much land has been taken over (conquered) since the late 19th century and then why stop there, go further back - it just ain't going to happen.

If the Thai steel industry thinks they will get special treatment then they are living in a dream world. Trump has already mentioned the trade imbalance between Thailand and the US, so now he's actually doing something about it. Thailand should now worry about big Steel and Aluminium producers dumping their products on the Thai market.

I guess ASEAN isn't about free trade. My wife thinks Cambodian garlic is better than Thai , maybe a legarcy of the French.
