  1. I have removed a post, which has altered a quote to change the meaning. Reminder of rule 28. You will not make changes to messages quoted from other members posts, except for purposes of shortening the quoted post. Do not shorten any post in a way that alters the context of the original post. Do not change the formatting of the post you are quoting.
  2. I have removed a number of posts, for discussing something that is not a recognised medical condition but rather an urban phrase. It is again being used as a means to belittle or mock individuals with differing political views. Such usage is inherently derogatory and contributes to a toxic conversational environment. So posts will be removed and if you continue to use it to attack or bait others, further action will be considered.
  3. A troll post which is trying to drag another poster into the topic, even when that poster has not commented at all, has been removed.
  4. A number of off topic baiting and bickering posts and the replies have been removed.
  5. Multiple off topic post and replies have been removed. This topic is “British Man Injured in Pattaya Road Rage Incident with Thai Driver” and has zero to do with a debate on pizza.
  6. A post again referring to something that is not a recognised medical condition but rather an urban phrase and just used as a means to belittle or mock individuals with differing political views, has been removed. @KhunLA you are well aware that it is not permitted under forum rules, so post it again and expect a time out.
  7. A troll post breaking forum rules has been removed. Rule 17. ASEAN NOW news team collects news articles from various recognised and reputable news sources. The articles may be consolidated from different sources and rewritten with AI assistance These news items are shared in our forums for members to stay informed and engaged. Our dedicated news team puts in the effort to deliver quality content, and we ask for your respect in return. Any disrespectful comments about our news articles or the content itself, such as calling it "clickbait" or “slow news day”, and criticising grammatical errors, will not be tolerated and appropriate action will be taken. Please note that republished articles may contain errors or opinions that do not reflect the views of ASEAN NOW. If you'd like to help us, and you see an error with an article, then please use the report function so that we can attend to it promptly.

  10. Sorry you maybe the OP, but after consideration the topic remains opens, as many are expressing their opinions. Those opinions can be challenged in the topic and posts that break the rules can be reported in the normal manner.
  11. It is not my role to censor opinions, but @IC2000 if you do not want your posted removed stop the name calling flame comments or expect a tome out.

  13. I have moved this topic to the political soapbox, as forum rules for the original home country forum states. “For topics and events related to the US and Canada. Political news topics are not permitted.”

  18. A post not in English has been removed. @giog please note forum rules and post in English. Rule 16. English is the only permitted language anywhere on ASEAN NOW, except within the Thai language forum, where using Thai is allowed. Short Thai translations of technical terms are permitted in specialty forums. While we make allowances for members who do not speak English as their first language, we expect everyone to make an effort to post in a manner that allows others to understand their posts. As an international forum we have members from many countries in the world, and English is not the first language of every poster.
  19. A number of off topic posts, discussing who has the right to post on AN have been removed. This topic is “Trump is back! He has won” @IC2000it is not your role to tell other posters they have no right to post on AN, because you disagree with their opinions, or because they do not stay full time in Thailand. If you disagree with their views, challenge it with a debate, without trolling, telling them they can’t post as not in Thailand or using something that is not a recognised medical condition. AN is open to everyone, providing you follow the forum rules.
