It's very sad that we see not only such regular violence from teachers here, but such apathy from the police who should treat such crimes far more aggressively and swiftly than they do. The pathetic penalties often dished out don't help matters either. When you strike a student or child, and it is a 5 year mandatory prison sentence, we may see the levels come down.

You may shred the content of a post all you like, but you will refrain from getting stuck into the poster at a personal level.

I feel the problem is less one of fertility and more one about finance. Raising kids is not cheap and many Thais have worked out that none, one or two is better for them than half a dozen hungry mouths to feed.

I find it very difficult to find the words to express how appalled and revolted I am to read this.
So very tragic for a young life to be defiled and snuffed out in the most terrible way.
RIP little one. I am sure your murderer is going to be in a world of pain for the rest of his miserable existence.

It's difficult to work out what goes on in the minds of the brainwashed, or those who will use anything to claw their way up to the top.
I think the GOP is doing itself untold damage, with some trying to pull it back towards the centre, while the others are hellbent on pushing even further to the right.
At the core of this is the mainstay of democracy and the operations we use to keep it in place. Decent minded people value that institution, and those who would seek to destroy, or pervert it, you would hope will find it very difficult to get re-elected.
America has become the laughing stock of the world for what was allowed to happen. It is essential that it can never be allowed to happen again.

While the older generation of my family are OK, the younger ones most definitely are struggling. I have had to help out more than a few times to a couple of siblings and their families.
Hard times are indeed in the UK, though undoubtedly everywhere around the world, the financial pain of the have nots is being felt.
It is sad that those who have gained billions since the pandemic began, have pretty much universally declined to spread some of that love.
Can only hope the various vaccines bring life back to normal soon and people can find their feet again.

8 minutes ago, webfact said:So far, 6.8 million out of about 10.6 million people who have registered for Rao Chana have passed the screening process
6.8 million is of course about 10% of the population, so massive numbers "falling through the cracks."

I wonder how they would have scored if the cut off date had been 2 or 3 weeks earlier?
And what it would be if it were counted up until right now?
Much has changed since late December after all.

It's sad that there are people nasty enough to rip innocent people off of their hard earned cash, but even sadder that people can be so stupid as to fall for something that is so very obviously fraudulent.

This thread is a long way off topic and as it has been reduced to pretty much pure bickering it is now CLOSED!!

I am quite happy to pay for mine, with the proviso that it doesn't cost me an exorbitant figure. Giving it free to everyone is a smart idea, which leaves me concerned as we don't see smart decisions here all that often. The Anutin backflip should be expected.

Correct. It isn't late, it's non existent.
Israel has already given an initial shot to over 60% of its population in comparison.
Thailand still has no idea when or where theirs is coming from.

It's the location of those 140+ walk ins that concerns me. If largely within one area less of a concern than if it is a few here and there all over the country. For every person that feels the need to go to a hospital, there will be many others feeling fine who may well be positive.

I took everything down and had the fella banned within 8 minutes of it being reported.
That was pretty quick I thought, given there are few of us and cannot monitor every single thread simultaneously.
Thank you to those who reported it and helped see it removed so swiftly.
We do not take such postings lying down and every effort is being made to identify the person, who was using a VPN.
I am not going to comment further about the tools at our disposal, or the evidence we have gathered for legal reasons.
That is the end of the matter and this topic is now closed, as I see no point in further discussing it.
CLOSED.

Covid and how it is being addressed by governments, is not relevant to a discussion on ICC jurisdiction in Palestine.

That must have been tough for him to admit. Small things like reality normally pass officials by here.
TBH I think that it may take longer than three years to approach previous levels, but denying him a little optimism might be harsh.

Possibly the biggest single issue is the temperature. The amount of CO2 required to pull a beer changes as the temperature goes up and down. Not a problem in a UK Pub cellar which remains pretty constant all year round. When you get the CO2 wrong, the beer is either flat or foamy, either way you get a bad pint and the bar loses much waste in every barrel.
There are systems in Europe to automatically do this, (Google Draftmore) but they are expensive and most bars find it easier to not get involved with draft, unless they or their cellar in a decent place have a constant temperature. And that is why most bars, especially those without AirCon, only have bottles.

Regardless of where it is, if you are intent upon returning at some point, I would hang on to it, as you have an essentially new bike there.
Even though very low clicks, it is 3 years old, so you will take a big hit on what you paid.
It's a buyers market right now as well. Lots of bikes being sold and not many with the money to buy.
I doubt you would get half what you paid unless you are most fortunate.

Pictures which show he was travelling at an insane speed given it was foggy.
Highly fortunate to still be alive and very lucky he didn't kill anyone else.
That would be reckless driving and possible jail time in many places.

Seems rarely a day goes by without us hearing of corruption here, there and everywhere. It's got to the point where you almost feel sorry for the few unfortunate ones who go to jail, when you know there are tens of thousands way more dishonest still going about their nasty business. Serious fail for Prayut who promised us he was going to stop it all of course.

Chonburi has a quota of 12,420 free tests
That isn't very many for the whole province. If they get 12,400+ negative results though that would reassure people.
I hope they are ready if that is not the case though.

How many other asymptomatic cases are out there who haven't reported to a hospital I wonder?
And is anyone testing the family and acquaintances of such people?
Along with the positives found daily, without also being given numbers on how extensive the testing is elsewhere, you can't really know what is happening nationwide.
I am hoping they do have it cooped in to a small area, but I have my doubts.
