How do you identify experienced drinkers? Those who check out? What an inane statement.

Make that a quarter-point BELOW the record low and you mage get a handful of farang tourists back, and you may even export Yingluck's rotten rice to some hungry nation.

Many criticized the formation of a special unit dedicated to dealing with crime by African Americans in Chiang Mai, it seemed far too narrow a niche, but, to be fair, the Black Hawk Detective Unit does appear to be justifying it's existence. This is now the tenth offender in just one month who has caused damage but does not have the 50K necessary to buy their way out of incarceration.
I am not American, is $1,600 genuinely too much money for US citizens to assemble? Can other US friends not lend them the money?
I am probably naive, but I assumed that everyone had at least some emergency money in reserve, particularly if they are in the habit of getting drunk and smashing up cars while visiting other countries.
I do not feel any primal need to inflict harm on other people while I am drunk, but even I have some money in reserve for emergencies. Surely everyone does this, regardless of color?
Just to be clear, I respect that black culture is different, I understand that the perpetrator is not responsible for what he has done and that this is squarely the fault of white privilege.Maybe he's got the cash but wants to try GoFundMe route first?

Oh, I forgot - the prevalent religion here is a total perversion of the principal teachings of Buddha and is such a far cry from the original guidance that it shouldn't even bear his name. He even specifically told people not to build temples and to just walk the path instead. Now """monks""" deal dope, rape kids, get in fights on public transport, get drunk at parties and storm schools to molest underage students and punch teachers during exams, and basically sit around getting fat all day playing on their phone. Every time I go to Central I can spot at least one waddling about looking for a new phone. Meanwhile they get subsidized by overcharged dopey farangs on some enlightenment trip and Thais who think throwing a bit of money about will absolve them of any repercussions from stupid behavior. How is anyone with a brain supposed to respect any of this?
I really wanted to say something like that but was advised it might get me into trouble with a certain government department. Now I just don't care anymore. Well said Genmai!

Whilst I sympathise with them the article is incomplete.
Was it an "informal marriage". I believe wives are given passports. Last May? Surely not 2 months ago. She must be on overstay. How was she picked up? Mostly its because they are caught working. Thai restaurant?
Good news is that deportees are flown out free.
I hope that it's sorted for them but not disappointed that UK is tightening up.
Please don't comment without reading the main article first.

next study: "Thais don't know which way water flows."
That's easy, even for Thais. If it moves down, it flows; if it moves up, it climbs.
