Crazy story.. i think the Thai judge will believe him as much as I believe him..........
It makes a pleasant difference from the usual plethora of murders, suicides, road rage, the state of Thai male ego, etc. Like a breath of fresh air...

Bye bye wallet . The German must have been living in the past , back in the 70's when he probably visited for the first time it was a lot safer.
Judging by his name he must be originally from one of the countries where thieves have their hand chopped off, so maybe he thought that the whole world would be safe. What a rude awakening!

Let him do it. Case closed.

People could face 5 years in jail for such behavior in serious cases.
How does a "serious case" of baring a bum differ from a not serious case? Who makes the decision? Are appeals to a higher court permitted? I'd consider baring my bum if I could show it to the Supreme Court judges.

No evidence whatsoever to say the Boris was drunk or speeding. Cars are designed to dent easily. Who's to know if the Brit was hammered and stumbled in to the path of the car?
Read the thread again. There was a witness!

Last year Group 35 on 3rd Road was offering a return fare to Koh Chang for 1,100 baht. This included pick-up from your hotel/apartment in Pattaya, ferry, and drop-off at your accommodation on Koh Chang, ditto for return journey. Worth googling them if they still offer the same service.

All you need is love... The Beatles, July 1967, over 50 years ago.
In Thailand, All you need is a knife (or a gun).

"had split up a year ago but the husband still loved her."
I'm confused here - does it mean that any of my ex ones I can kill, as long as I say I still loved them? Wow, where to begin?!

RIP to all those who died innocently. The rest (drunk drivers, dangerous drivers), no sympathy from me.

Life is a learning curve... I was faster on some sections, and slower on others...

And I hope the OP survives too!

You never did anything stupid when you were young?
I know I did stuff as bad as this, if not worse, in my teens.

I did indeed when I was young, but I had a "revelation" when I was 25 and since then, No, No, No

The problem with the new Russia is that they closed the gulags. A 20-year stretch is what that bovine needs!

Krungsri is indeed one of the best. Their minimum balance is US$500 or equivalent in the currency chosen. They offer accounts in 12 currencies (US, GBP, EUR, JPY, AUD, CHF, SGD, HKD, NOK, SEK, DKK and CNY). Transfers are handled by the Bank of Ayudhya and in my 7 year experience (about 10 transactions a year) I've never had a cause to complain.
