As with every unnecessary death, very sad. The drunken idiot is a prime candidate for a murder charge, which I hope the police will actually hit him with. 220mg isn't drunk, rather paralytic. The message needs to go out that if you drive in that condition, the consequences will be a very, very long time in jail. Until this happens the drink driving death rate will remain pretty constant.

I'd agree wholeheartedly, except it says that...  "Police said that Thanet registered as having 220 mg of blood in his system, several times over the limit". No mention of alcohol....

It's not dating if they are working as a prostitute. If they pack in the sex work, then some ex-bargirls can make great girlfriends, long-term partners or wives. One just has to find the right one.

And if you try fifty, or a hundred, your chances of finding the right one increase. Except by then you may get hooked on trying! :clap2:

It's more likely to in the third World, I don't think it's justified any more than you do.

    Despite all of your virtue-signalling, hand-wringing, & moral-outrage.

I'll make sure I quote you back if/when your g/f, wife or daughter gets raped here. Or do you make her wear a burkha every time she ventures out?

According to the World Health Organization, Thailand averages 66 road deaths EVERY day.

Which just goes to show how successful these campaigns have been! Only 48 dead, that's a 27% down on a usual tally! OK, once a few of the injured succumb in hospitals and the real figure increases to, say 55 dead, it will still be hailed a resounding success.

N.B.: If I sound a sarcastic old git, it's because I am. Ten dead is ten too many!

They should have known better. Nothing is free not even -no cover charge- as it fronts for what comes next.

Why didn't they ask for a menu.?

I had lunch on the beach with some Thais in Rayong ,atleast we had a table and bench.

Only reason I agreed to eating on the beach was because I wasn't paying. Lol

Bill  for 3 or so basic rice dishes,  a fish plate and a couple of Singhas630 ml bottles 2000 b thereabouts.

    Waste of money.

Sounds about reasonable to me. I've been to places far more expensive but, like you, I  wasn't paying.

This country is getting more crazy by the minute.. I wonder how many of the junta elite government ministers actually went to university or even completed high school?

The implementation or lack there of, of anything to make Thailand better always takes a backward step like the Flinstones.. IMO..

Is Thailand becoming the Zimbabwe of Asia is anyones guess.. The stupidity just continues..

Zimbabwe allowed alcohol ads, which is why the country went south. Nothing to do with Mugabe or any of his cronies.
