It's been available in Canada for 5-11 year old kids since November. My son is 10 and I though long and hard about getting him vaccinated, I talked it over with him and he wanted to have his shots. I got my son vaccinated when it came out Nov 24, second shot 2 weeks ago now. No reactions other than a sore arm, same as my experience. He's always been very healthy, no underlying conditions. The vaccination is just another layer of protection, if he needs it he's got it. I don't buy into the whole But IT's uTesTed and mrNa wHiLe cAuSe................ And kids don't get Covid (insert conspiracy links and third hand stories here) There's a chance he'll get it and I want the best protection for him One of the drivers for me was that the schools here in Alberta have stayed open since the beginning of the school year in Sep. With Omicron the schools have been running about 10% absentee rates, children and teachers. His grade 5 class has quite a low rate although we don't get exact numbers, just an e-mail if there is a confirmed case in the school. A separate e-mail if there is an case in his class. Grade 1-9 school with a kindergarten, approx. 850 students. The schools have sent home rapid test kits to help monitor if there are symptoms. The School Board here just authorized a upgrade on all schools to a high grade HEPA air filtration system, seems a little late, but governments. Easier to install here as all our buildings have heating systems with ductwork. I think this will help more than masks. All in all I'm much more satisfied with the school response in Alberta than his former private school in Udon Thani

Fix the right of way, the tracks, the base they are sitting on. Then buy some shiny new trains. No glamor in maintenance though

Got a sore arm and a day off school which he enjoyed. Second dose is at a 8 week delay, so Jan 24 he gets his second shot. Schools here are open, they've sent home antigen test kits so if he shows signs of infection a quick test for him and me, and if positive isolate. That to me seems a best solution to a new, evolving disease.

I went to the local car registration/inspection place and got the transfer documents that I signed, copy of my passport, signed also. I gave these to my housekeeper/nanny of 9 years and she got my truck when I left If your selling, you can go with the buyer to the bank, get the money and you hand over the papers. It cost me 1350 baht to do an international transfer out of Thailand, on numerous occasions I left Oct 20 and transferred out the money I had on deposit for my retirement visa. And much more from property sales before that. Anyone can transfer up to 50,000 USD per day out of Thailand, you don't have to have a work permit, I didn't. If they say you do they are just blowing you off with a handy excuse. You do need to find THAT person at the bank who will co-operate with you. Go in person to your bank and tell them you want to make an international transfer You'll need the swift number of your receiving bank, account number, IBAN number. Your passport of course Tell them you want to transfer the 25K Euro, they will send it as Thai baht and the receiving bank will convert it to Euro. Takes about 30 minutes or so.

enter your 13 digit code from the certificate you should have gotten after your second shot into the mor chana app to get your digital/QR code separate vaccination records. It also has the digital copy of the vaccination record that's the same as the paper copy you should have gotten after your second shot. When I moved to Alberta there is a link on the AHS site to upload your digital records from outside of Canada. Considering it's all digital it still took about 4 weeks to get the records into the my Alberta Health app. Other provinces will be different of course, because it's Canada all provinces have a different standard and protocol. I would take and show both passports. I left Oct 20 with my son who is dual citizen Canadian/Thai I used his Thai passport as ID in the hospital in Udon Thani to get his PCR test. At the airport, on checkin, when showing tickets to Canada they wanted to see either a valid visa to Canada in his Thai passport or his Canadian passport. I showed the Canadian passport, but this didn't match the passport used for his PCR. Now the check in agent doesn't know what to do. I get the dreaded, "wait here" as she goes to find a supervisor. She shows the supervisor the documents, and she doesn't know what to do, and they both disappear to find a higher up. I'm standing there thinking Oh #%$@ After about 5 minutes the agent comes back and says OK you can go, but she isn't happy. It's a small bureaucratic detail that I didn't think of that came close to derailing everything

You can also get the transfer documents from the vehicle inspection agencies if you don't want to go to the DLT. They are a lot more of those around. I transferred ownership of my truck to my nanny when I left in October. Signed the transfer papers, copy of passport, blue book, done. If they are out of the country just scan the transfer papers and e-mail to them for signatures.
