  1. Another one, right in the cracking tower
  2. Another day another burning refinery. Long range drones getting the job done one report I've read is that they are targeting the cracking towers in all the refineries, just another thing they don't have the ability to manufacture
  3. kwonitoy replied to PJ71's topic in Bangkok
The best luggage you can buy is Briggs & Riley, available in Thailand? don't know Lived out of my suitcases for 30+ years in the oil patch, replace luggage every 2 years minimum, My Briggs and Riley is 20 years old and looks like new. If it gets damaged you send it to a repair depot (I have) they fix it free of charge OR if it's not fixable they will replace it with a new one. Tumi is overpriced 'name' luggage Samsonite will fall apart
  4. Good news if verified, the A-50 fleet is being degraded bit by bit, not many left now
  5. Keep bombing the refineries, keep sinking ships, keep downing planes The invaders country is slowly being hollowed out. No one saw the Soviet Union collapse coming and I think the next one will be the same
  6. Driest place on earth, some places it hasn't rained in centuries. I was about 4 hours drive north of Antofagasta in the copper belt I've worked in Saudi, Egypt, Aus outback and thought I knew what a desert was, then I went to the Atacama desert, No rain, no life, not a single little weed or grass growing, no insects, nothing. The year I was there they were still running the Dahkar in south america, one stage came right by out camp, but they didn't show that on TV Sometimes I would just walk out into the desert and it was completely silent, very eerie
  7. Having worked in Chile, you must know how to speak Spanish. I was the only English speaker in a camp of about 600 workers, and I don't speak enough Spanish to get by. Made for a long job. Down south is supposed to be nice, I was working in the Atacama desert which is brutal.
  8. https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-zelenskyy-luxury-yachts-75-million-067680385163 Just more BS from the maga crowd
  9. Financially smart on Taylor Swifts part $3 million per show While Singapore has declined to share how much it paid for the exclusive rights to the Eras Tour, the prime minister of Thailand said publicly that Singapore had shelled out up to $3 million per show. (Swift is playing six sold-out shows in the country.)12 hours ago
  10. The endless cold war stockpiles evidently, have a bottom. They have a very limited to non existent manufacturing capability, jets, ships artillery pieces, tanks, etc. The tanks that do get supplied are refurbishments from stockpiles like this one, they aren't capable of making new ones, or artillery barrels, or steel, etc.
  11. Writing on bomb photo: "For the children of Odessa. With hatred. Without respect". I think this is the French version of the GLSDB
  12. I don't turn mine off, just let the auto off function do it's thing and I get 4 or 5 days before charging, read about 1-2 hours per night I've had Kindles and much prefer the amazon tablet YMMV
  13. Get yourself a thobe, or as we called them in Saudi, a man dress
  14. I bought a Amazon Fire tablet for less than a Kindle, on sale for $129.00 in Canada 10" screen, color, acts like a android tablet and a book reader. Very happy with it.
  15. The money the US gives to Ukraine is mostly spent in the US buying munitions, so It puts a lot of folks to work in the arms industry. But the maga's believe it's money deposited into a Ukrainian account somewhere Of the $68 billion in military and related assistance Congress has approved since Russia invaded Ukraine, almost 90 percent is going to Americans, one analysis found. https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/fact-sheet-us-assistance-ukraine https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/11/29/ukraine-military-aid-american-economy-boost/ But do keep on with the maga talking points of "but the border" Your man moscow mike demanded a border solution and when presented with one, trump whispered in his ear to decline so he could have an issue to run on
  16. He collects his pee in a bottle and then rubs it onto his body, and prays real hard YMMV
