  1. Number one thing they must do is solve the fresh water/sewage/flooding problems, for once and for all time !!!

It realy makes a great impresion that the tourist can't take a shower

( after swimming in the lovely clean Pattaya/Jomtien bay )

untill 3AM because the water pressure has been turned down to a dribble all day,

Then how about getting some roads finished and others resurfaced ?

One thing that has improved is the electricity supply :)

  2. tried today..it all seems to work..you sign up and get an email saying account created and they give you a voucher code

then when you try to log in to the site you get a lovely..

    Microsoft JScript runtime error '800a01b6'

Object doesn't support this property or method

    :)

  3. Had a look today at the (ex) Cherry's restaraunt at LK Renaissance Hotel in Soi Diana.

it is now an all you can eat for 99 baht place...was refused entry as it was full..so just took the photo and left.

  4. I'm convinced there are actually only 2 people, 1 male and 1 female doing the horrendous dubbing for every single film in Thailand.

    monopoly on voice overs :)

I'm told that they use the "Siang Law" ( handsome voice ?) way of speaking

and I can hardly decipher a single word either !!

  5. There are adverts on Pattaya TV about an all you can eat place opening in August at the LK Renaissance hotel,

does anyone know if it will be a offshoot of the Cherry's restaurant there or a totally different operator ?

  6. I've been living 'on the hill' since relocating from Phuket in April. Absolutely no problems at all, very nice area.

Just moving into a brand new 5 x 12 meter 4th floor studio with secure car-park, air-con, bathroom, kitchenette and a great sea view of the islands, only 300 meters from the park.

Hugely overpriced at 2,500 baht per month :):D :D

    Simon

2,500 baht per month !!! surely thats a typo ????

  7. You can pay your Maxnet invoice at any Seven-11, free of charges

yes, you used to be able to do that...not now :)

now they won't even except the money in TT@T offices you have to go to Siam Comercial (Thai Panit)

or Krung Thai Bank or Tesco.. who knows what next month holds in store..............

  8. neverdie,

    I have a 2004 Raider.

    post-2109-1248529308_thumb.jpg

everything original as far as I know... got it second hand.

A bigger feul tank would be nice.

Was in two minds Sonic or Raider, from everything I've read the Raider wins

but there are so many Honda Sonic's around I thought maybe it was a better bike

hope one day I'll get to try a Sonic.

    To jbeck,

when I was looking I asked some Motorbike taxis drivers who said there was still shops in Bangkok selling

new Raiders..I suppose new as in showroom condition but a few years old.

They are sold in Malaysia now as the Suzuki Belang.

National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) explained that the natural phenomenon will occur from 7:00 AM through 9:30 AM. Countries and areas where a full eclipse can be seen are India, China, Japan and the South Pacific.

A total solar eclipse cannot be observed within entire Thailand, and the time it begins varies depending from where it is observed. The chart below shows the start time and percentage of eclipse based on your region.
