  1. Now if they fried the fries in lard then I would eat them.

Me too. I'm old enough to remember when the fast food places switched from lard to vegetable oils. They did it because the lard was "bad for you" Fries were never the same, but we adapted to our lowered expectations- kicking and screaming- but we adapted

EEEE! By Guum, them were the days, Noon of that foreign muuk for me! meat, two veg and chips all fried in lard, I'll 'ave you know!!!!!cheesy.gif

  2. Did you mean 'witch' runs to her room, or 'who' runs to her room. Condescending either way.

You should think about the ways in which you express yourself in future posts because, as your rhetoric suggests, you're selfish indeed.

Who. I am sorry I am not a native English speaker.

Well, from me the woman can't expect too much sympathy.

If she wanted to kill herself she would have better done it her own place.

Most people that commit suicide have done many attempts before actually being actually successful. Also this woman made a previous attempt (a few years ago, she took pills). People tried to help her.

Some people just can't handle life, and no matter how hard people around them try, it's all suffering for them. It's so easy to feel sorry for the person that committed suicide but I believe it's often a choice made during years of suffering. For them it's the best and (from their perspective) the most logical solution. And when they die, their suffering stops, so they have got what they want. So, why do we have to feel sorry?

I don't think it's a brave thing to do. It takes less than a minute to hang yourself and die. But the family and friends, they will carry it with them all their life. They will always feel guilty, they will feel like they should have done more to prevent it.

You might call it a cry for help, but it's sometimes more than that. It's like the final and most extreme punishment you could give the people that love you. It's an extreme but also selfish cry for attention. The girl that killed herself must have understood how the boyfriend would feel after he would find her ... it's like the ultimate revenge. Again, I think it's a selfish thing to do.

Don't misunderstand me. Everything should be done to prevent suicides. But I have little sympathy for people that kill themselves.

The only case were I can show sympathy is if the suicide is a form euthanasia and the people around yourself have been explained beforehand about the reason why it was necessary to take the step and they understand why you need to take that step

You have no idea about suicide and that of people suffering depression, you should do some research on it before you make cold hearted and insensitive comments about this serious social issue that affect all of us.

  3. It's amazing what kind of view from responsibility some have here.

The whole last year there was several times, weekly news that there are irregularities with the rice scheme.

Ministers have repeatedly asked questions in Parliament.

    - They mentioned the specific cases with names, quantities, location and even the account numbers.

    - Internal administration officials, which have confirmed the irregularities, were transferred and made silenced.

    - About nightly bulk transfers of Natthawuts transport company was reported.

    - The director of the BAAC was silenced.

    - Reports on rotting and missing rice

    - Warehouses were set on fire.

    - Farmers had to wait for their money, were lied for months and some killed themselves.

So what those responsible ministers and the chairwoman (NRC) have done the whole last year?

    - no parliamentary questions have been answered.

    - Denial, cover up, lying, cheating, snake in the grass strategy.

    - Alibi warehouse testing, with the result: everything was in best order.

This is more then only a case of dereliction of duty!

Negligent supervision duty injury with concealment in office.

The culprits have contributed absolutely nothing to clarify and limit the damage,

on the contrary, the damage was through the denial and passivity far from larger.

Everyone knows that the G-to-G deals were very high placed in the hierarchy.

    Control mechanisms could be bypassed.

Or how else a 500 million baht check could be once issued?

Or how else somebody can provide and cash out a 500 million check at a bank without examination?

Or how else can 1 million tonnes of rice just got out of warehouses and disappear?

Those are more signs of organized economic crime, nothing less.

500 Million! isn't that about how much money Thaksin borrowed from the Russians for that Dubai construction project that went belly up??

The Russians would still want their money back plus interest of course.

    Just curious coffee1.gif

    Who has the video footage?

Sick Puppy!! you need psychiatric help, I bet you are over 60 too.

What has 60 got to do with this?

Ahhhh! What's wrong with this picture, A male Caucasian living in Thailand asking to see a video of underage Thai children having sex on a public forum? If you did that in my country, a quick screen shot and phone call to crime stoppers and the police would want to know your every move.

The picture of a 60's plus fat, ugly, bald man looking at video's of underage children, while choking his todger after dropping a few Viagra's comes to mind, as we see people like this getting carted away by the police on the six a clock news quite often.

  5. The trouble you have General when you pick people you can trust and know very well, is you tend to developed a mentality of Yes men , not something you would want when weighing up the checks and balances on some important issues, I would rather have a robust debate than a table of nodding mates.coffee1.gif

You have a point, however the yes men mentality is probably what is needed for the short term to get back on track.

Also, when did you ever see a Thai having a healthy debate?

  6. While they are at it they can take a look at how can they afford to build eight houses on a policeman salary.

And also be able to afford to send all of their children to school overseas

Which schools do all of their children go to then?

Stay tuned viewers, as the answer to this and many more Thai mysteries, will be revealed after the commercial break..........

  7. Wouldn't really call her sexy.....Skinny maybe.
