My understanding of what the founders of Pirate Bay have done is to exploit a legal loophole in the system and the governments are embarrassed and trying to stop it.

Sorry to say but you are not accepted by the family and this is the sisters way of showing you, but they tolerate you because you give them money.

On the other hand if you give them money, pay for trips etc. don't then begrudge it if you are trying to buy the sisters affections or you are trying to buy your way into the family stop because it isn't working.

Stop the money and the buying of things for the sister and see how long your relationship lasts.

I'm not delusional.

I am in the real Thailand with real Thai people who still have a real life.

Many westerners, sexpats and lonely old farts and drunks are being delusional when the believe places like Pattaya, Phuket and parts of Bangkok represent Thailand and all Thai people,

Those places are filled with poor women who have no choice but to permit themselves to be exploited and abused by losers in exchange for money need for the survival of themselves and their families.

This is not the case in most of Thailand.

In tourist areas you meet the poor, uneducated and some just too lazy to get an education or a real job.

Putting up with fat, old stinky drunks slobbering all over you is pretty easy work when they get past the "wanting to throw up" stage.

Unlike your neighborhood, the majority of Thai women where I live have never and will never go into a bar or ever have a drink. Good respectable Buddhist women.

Even the poorer women in my area have pride and would rather live a simple, clean life than sell themselves to an old, fat, drunken sweat ball.

As I said, you find what you look for, look in the gutter and find the slime of Thai people.

For some, slime is all they want and all they deserve.

They assure themselves that if they are not capable of doing better..neither can others.

One more thing Lous...please stay there. Those with no respect for good Thai people are not well respected by good Thai people here and usually don't last too long here.

Places like Pattaya and Phuket were created to cater to a certain kind of creature and I would like to encourage those creatures to stay right where they are......., and where they are welcome.

My advice for what it's worth; Don't burn all your bridges and leave the door ajar.

Just remember there are not many places in the world as good as Thailand to live and enjoy your retirement.

The reasons you originally left your home country to live and work in Thailand are still there, they have not gone away and after a few months you will come to realise that fact.

Think of your good times in Thailand.

I agree Thailand is working through it's problems at the moment but so is every other country, and it is not easy anywhere in the world if you are short of money.

Please sit down think it through; you have done the hard bit in obtaining your WP and finding work.

Talk your problems through why have you "had it up to here with this country".

I will guarantee you there will be somebody on this forum who has experienced the same problems as you and they will have a solution.

But if you decide to go it's been nice speaking with you.

If money wasn't an issue, there are hundreds of much better places to retire to.
