  1. How do you know they weren't a scam? The first rule of security on any internet enabled device is not to click on links you don't know are from whom or why.
  2. My PC recently upgraded to the latest ver 22H2 of Win11 and it seems a lot slicker and bug free than the original Win11. Cannot see me going back to Win10.
  3. The network location I am at does not recognize my IR DTAC SIM, but DTAC over local wifi is OK and cheaper.
  4. OK, I've got on a wifi signal in another country and the DTAC SIM works fine for calls and SMS when I choose preferred network as Wifi in SIM settings. Was able to get a confirmation OTP for another service this way to my DTAC number which is main thing I needed.
  5. I cannot understand the Easy Pass web site https://www.thaieasypass.com/th/easypass/mflow but I think it implies the Easy Pass Plus will allow access to M_Flow lanes? I have applied for Easy Pass Plus on web site, not sure how long it takes for them to approve, now in the waiting mode all of today and will see what happens next. Maybe someone with experience can explain if Easy Pass Plus means we can drive through M-Flow lanes?
  6. Sorry been off the expressways for a while. We have an Easy Pass device in car been used a lot, but what is the difference between Easy Pass and Easy Pass Plus or even M-Flow? Can someone explain please? Should we upgrade?
  7. If overseas I only have access to a WiFi signal on my phone coming off a router connected to a satellite link to internet, with no cell phone cover in region, is there a trick to getting DTAC to receive OTPs ? Or will I not be able to use my phone number at all in that situation?
  8. Hi, Not too clued up on this but I need to travel to overseas for a few weeks and if possible keep my DTAC number active whilst there the cheapest way possible? How to do? Do I need to sign up for something extra, the SIM is already checked for international roaming, or just keep going, make sure data is off and use phone sparingly? I will just need it to receive OTPs occasionally I guess and will at most other times have access to the internet, Line, WhatsApp etc by using a local wifi? I think I read somewhere you can use DTAC number off of wifi but not sure how that works? Thanks for any tips.
  9. Not tried this but when paying on internet, don't they also ask for name on card besides card number and CVV? The KBank ATM card does not have my name on it?
  10. Thanks I just noticed that! I think my old ATM card didn't have this and I was using KBank online virtual debit card, but they seem to have stopped virtual cards, mine runs out next month and no option to make a new one so I guess the new form ATM card fills this gap but costs 200THB/yr?
  11. I haven't tried Bolt before. Just installed app it looks easier than Grab. Are the prices it quotes fixed? What happens if traffic is jammed and takes longer?
  12. I was wondering what's the benefit of keeping a 200THB/yr debit card if we can use card-less? Would a card only be of use when traveling overseas? Also last time I tried card-less ATM in another Thai province to my bank, there was no inter-provincial extra charge like I used to get with the card.
  13. You don't need any online booking to go to Bangkok DLC. I was in and out within 1hr 30m doing just walk in earlier this month. It might have been faster still if they had a few more working at the card machines, they have 8 only one was worked.
