You can delete what you no longer need or copy the said files to another drive. Without further info there is little more feedback one can offer!

Is it possible to block Windows Explorer?
Digitalbanana replied to billd766's topic in IT and Computers
Why does it beat you? Some people have a need for apps that are only available on a Windows platform so it makes more sense to use Windows than a Windows emulator ontop of another o/s. -

Digitalbanana replied to hammered's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If it was me I wouldn't travel all the way back to Bangkok for the sake of bureaucracy, I would do a new TM30 and TM47 at the current place I am staying up country. But each to their own. -

I was flat out refused my pink ID card at DHL Emporium - only passport copy allowed when trying to mail a letter. I was also quoted a price just to send a letter of nearly 2700THB or 3 times what was quoted online DHL site. I asked the staff about the large mark up when she had time to get off the phone and she tersely recommended I just do it online and wasn't budging on the price. I went back home did the online shipment and a polite DHL driver turned up a few hours later as scheduled for just over 900THB all in and never asked to look at ID or letter contents. I will likely never set foot in a DHL office again. BTW, DHL places on Google Maps today no longer exist. I tried two in space of 10 minutes around Asoke area that are no loner there. Can anyone explain logic behind huge price difference between DHL online and going in person?

I have GMail notifiers going off all day long on my Gmail android app on phone and Outlook app on Windows. There is absolutely no need to put your gmail passwords in anywhere besides to access the accounts on Gmail itself.

My PC recently upgraded to the latest ver 22H2 of Win11 and it seems a lot slicker and bug free than the original Win11. Cannot see me going back to Win10.

The network location I am at does not recognize my IR DTAC SIM, but DTAC over local wifi is OK and cheaper. -
Travel international with a DTAC sim, cheapest way?
Digitalbanana replied to Digitalbanana's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
OK, I've got on a wifi signal in another country and the DTAC SIM works fine for calls and SMS when I choose preferred network as Wifi in SIM settings. Was able to get a confirmation OTP for another service this way to my DTAC number which is main thing I needed. -
Easy Pass, Easy Pass Plus and M-Flow
Digitalbanana replied to Digitalbanana's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I cannot understand the Easy Pass web site https://www.thaieasypass.com/th/easypass/mflow but I think it implies the Easy Pass Plus will allow access to M_Flow lanes? I have applied for Easy Pass Plus on web site, not sure how long it takes for them to approve, now in the waiting mode all of today and will see what happens next. Maybe someone with experience can explain if Easy Pass Plus means we can drive through M-Flow lanes? -
Sorry been off the expressways for a while. We have an Easy Pass device in car been used a lot, but what is the difference between Easy Pass and Easy Pass Plus or even M-Flow? Can someone explain please? Should we upgrade?

Travel international with a DTAC sim, cheapest way?
Digitalbanana replied to Digitalbanana's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
If overseas I only have access to a WiFi signal on my phone coming off a router connected to a satellite link to internet, with no cell phone cover in region, is there a trick to getting DTAC to receive OTPs ? Or will I not be able to use my phone number at all in that situation? -
Hi, Not too clued up on this but I need to travel to overseas for a few weeks and if possible keep my DTAC number active whilst there the cheapest way possible? How to do? Do I need to sign up for something extra, the SIM is already checked for international roaming, or just keep going, make sure data is off and use phone sparingly? I will just need it to receive OTPs occasionally I guess and will at most other times have access to the internet, Line, WhatsApp etc by using a local wifi? I think I read somewhere you can use DTAC number off of wifi but not sure how that works? Thanks for any tips.
