  1. i am following another thread here on tv in the immigration section " waiting for court " about a guy who bought a dog, give it to his wife, then seperated from that wife and went to her house and took her dog only to keep it safe, now thai wife has went to police and is prosecuting him for " stealing her dog " this story to me smacks of injustice against this bloke because he is " farang" he has to pay lawyer 200k to represent him in court plus he is on bail for 150k.

now, if this were a thai guy , would the same justice be meeted out ? i would say not, he would probably pay wife or cops a few hundred baht and walk off into the sunset.

has anyone else any stories such as the guy in question, seems grossly unfair for any farang to have to be subjected to this kind of injustice through thai courts simply because they are not thai.

i hope this thread will not be closed or removed for whatever reason by any mods, its a truthfull thread and is only intended for anyone to share their stories and raise concerns that we are feeling that farangs are not given a fair crack of the whip and are continuously being demonised and treated unfairly " in a lot of cases "

by the thai authorities simply because they are " foreigners " or simply because they think we have " more money than them "

i for one am sick of it and have had enough of it in my time here in the land of smiles.

  5. It seems like the OP spends all of his waking hours trying to think up new ways to bash the Thais. As usual, on aI haven't experienced any of this "Thai aggression" that he speaks of daily basis. How do guys like this survive in the real world for so long?

" haven't experienced any of this "Thai aggression" that he speaks of daily basis."

you havent ? you want to try live with my x wife for a few weeks.!! the most nasty aggressive human being i have ever come acrooss in my entire life. off course it was good at the start,, the sex i mean .

  6. i dont believe !

why did she go to the thai karaoke bar ? everyone knows this is pickup joint for bar girls. and bar girls pay the guys in these joints , ive heard of big money being spent on a young karaoke guy.

did they do a sneaky before she woke up , leaving her with " no face " .

did she spend all her hard earned cash on them the night before then woke up penniless .......then thought to herself , OK PLAN B .

  7. lets hear the facts from the people in the know, if someone overstays say 1-12 months , do they go straight to IDC and get processed for months or will thai government get them to hell out of country if funds are readilly available and flight ticket is paid? which seems most sensible thing to do right but then again we are in thailand ......whistling.gif

please someone confirm, who knows !!

  8. i notice a few times i buy goods in thailand ion my kasikorn visa debit card, some shops just swipe it and thats it, other shops ask you for a signature but these signatures on strips can be easilly removed using brake fluid then re signed.

i have a substantial amount in this bank account so if i forgot my card from ATM which has happened a lot in past then if card fell into wrong hands then effectivelly

they could wipe my whole account out .

also another scenario if someone behind me in a queue seen my PIN and stole my card .

    right or wrong ?

and if so would it be my fault or would thai bank re imburse ? as it uk but i wouldnt hold my breath.
