It is common knowledge in business circles But here's the data you were asking for. 60% of restaurants for example, fail in the first year. 80% of them fail before their 5th anniversary. https://www.cnbc.com/2016/01/20/heres-the-real-reason-why-most-restaurants-fail.html In Canada, 51% of all businesses fail https://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/m_blog/four-businesses-most-likely-to-fail

They are from the middle class. Russia is the 6th biggest economy when measured in purchasing power parity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP) The same kind of middle class tourist from anywhere else. I was actually surprised how many Iranian young men I ran into in Pattaya in the 2010's. Even they have a middle class. There's only one real closed country these days. Thats North Korea.

People talk about how sleazy Pattaya is but its actually been moving in the opposite direction year after year. There really is a lot of family activities to do there. I even noticed this in my monger days. The water parks aren't there for the mongers. There are so many family activities. When I arrived in 2006 I recall the bars and the smut were in your face to an extent that they aren't now. The development has grown around these areas and changes the face of it. I would bring my family there now for a holiday now. But I couldn't say the same about 2006.

Get a short time room then for f*** sakes. Have you ever caught someone having sex in public ? I have. Its weird and annoying. I was motorcycle trail riding , came around a corner and there was some woman laying in the back of a minivan with the rear hatch open. And a male standing on the ground penetrating her.

It looks like the guy is a genuine tweaker. He was so paranoid in his mind that he felt the need to carry a gun. Even if it was a BB gun, I guess he thought he could flash some real bullets to give himself heat packing street cred. What I don't understand about tweakers is it really doesn't look like they are having a good time, ever. Who wants to be paranoid all the time ?

Will French serial killer “The Serpent” be extradited to Thailand?

Evidently some of this lowlife likes prison and can function in prison. For the serpent, it doesn't look like prison was much of a punishment. -
Will French serial killer “The Serpent” be extradited to Thailand?

Pretty sickening. He lived long enough to get the last laugh. It took awhile but thats what he said when he was incarcerated again. So he's on his last laugh tour now. Hey look at me. Im free. Statutes of limitations are a ridiculous concept. What matters is if someone committed murder or not. If there's beyond a reasonable doubt or even a confession, then the charges should stick for the life of the suspect. What is this.. Probably some British law invention -
Yeah I don't see how this contradicts my point. There is literally nothing free market about the price and control of credit in the world. It is essentially an administrative command system not unlike the prices of things in the Soviet Union. Except just with one thing. The most important thing. The price and emission of credit. The Fed is a 12 person politburo

Hogwash. I first went to Thailand in 2006 as a 22 year old. Just as the coup hit. The first few times with friends. We stayed up literally all night. There was 2 big clubs on WS at the time. I believe it was Lucifers and then there was another place with a small upstairs. I remember leaving in the bright morning sun. And realizing how stupid it was. But thats just my opinion. As I said, everyones body is different. Some ppl can stay up all night and make a proper recovery by noon.

You didn't answer the question. So you think its just a coincidence that every central bank mouthpiece across the planet just so happened to go from about 15 years of expansionary policy to rate hikes and it was all a coincidence ? Get real. Markets don't determine the emission of credit or interest rates. Administrative-command systems within central banks determine them.
-
I never said they were owned by one center. They are coordinated by one center. The Bank of International Settlements. As it basically says on their Wiki page. And yes. The BOT is a member. The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is an international financial institution[2] owned by central banks that "fosters international monetary and financial cooperation and serves as a bank for central banks". Do you think interest rates are set by the "free market" or something ?
-
All central banks are controlled by one center in the world. That is why literally all of them are raising rates now. They are gonna keep raising till the house of cards comes tumbling down just like the hike cycle in 2006-2008. Which is strange because unlike 2008 where some companies were too big to fail, today the bubbles are too big to fail.

Ex-Navy Officer: Warship’s Front Left Hull Was Cracked
Harsh Jones replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
i assumed these ships were hand me downs from western navies. But no. They were brand new special builds for the Thai navy. Wiki The Ratanakosin-class corvettes (Thai: รัตนโกสินทร์) are a class of two corvettes that were built for the Royal Thai Navy in the 1980s. Constructed by Tacoma Boatbuilding Company in the United States. The Ratanakosin class is based on the Saudi Arabian Badr-class design. -
Maybe because some ppl choose to live here on modest investment income or pension. And have all day free to themselves. Instead of living in the west which would require at least a part time job. Pick your prison.

Yeah but with these interest rates going up worldwide, there's gotta be some desparados out there. There will be some deals coming up. I'd just be a little concerned about the name. Keep some Red Bull in the fridge I guess. It gives you wings

2022: A roller-coaster ride for Thailand’s cannabis industry

I can see both sides of the argument. For all practical purposes , marijuana should be legal. But the problem is, there is no countries surrounding Thailand and in greater Asia who are anywhere close to taking this step. This has turned Thailand into the Netherlands of Asia. Marijuana fiends from the whole continent of Asia and the rest of the world are descending into Thailand for this reason. The authorities thought they were legalizing the domestic market. When really, its going to become a lot bigger than that -
When I was young single and in Thailand, I'd rather have a lady in the sack at around 1 am. Have a romp. Watch a movie, romp again. Then another one in the morning. Then find breakfast. Which beats sitting at some nightclub all night till 7 am. Just to go collapse in a bed with some LB that you thought was a lady. And then get robbed.
