He could turn it inside out every 6 months.

Maybe it was his lucky shirt?
For two and a half years?

Simply going to You-tube and searching "Thailand tourist" brings out a lot of clips of bars and dancing. Seems a common perception.
Possibly a good thing?

My apologies, as an Aussie English is my second language.
Anyway, Yes I meant risque.
Obviously parts of Amsterdam, London, Sydney etc are far more bawdy that parts of Thailand; however I was thinking more about Thailands overall image. The ladies (and not necessarily the obvious ones) have a world-wide reputation as being sexy and quite forward.
After talking to a few outsiders, I am not sure if this is a bad thing. It possibly attracts to Thailands personality as a tourist destination.

I was looking to see if you are the cruncher from Phon Cheroen. We call him the cruncher because he can't drive. Crunches his way through all the gears then back again.Who checks their profile to see if people have looked at it, anyway?
If you're not interested in your own profile, then why are you interested in mine?

I have a few good friends in Thailand. They haven't changed in years.
Maybe you have a wardrobe of the same tees, or maybe you are hoping that we don't notice.
But seriously, how hard is it to peel on a clean shirt?

Thailand can be risque, but I think you meant risky.
risquérɪˈskeɪ,ˈrɪskeɪ,ˈriːskeɪ/adjective- slightly indecent and liable to shock, especially by being sexually suggestive."his risqué humour"synonyms: bawdy, indecent, ribald, rude, racy, broad, earthy, Rabelaisian, spicy, suggestive, titillating, improper, naughty, indelicate, indecorous, off colour, locker-room

One.
And before she could come back to her parents house for a visit they had to purchase separate cooking utensils for her so that she didn't have to eat with the same utensils as her family.

Currently in Australia, as you all know. Next..

I have lately thought of Thailand's risque image as a tourist destination as unfavorable if not embarrassing, and certainly dangerous.
Yet I am becoming involved in conversation with numerous travelers who still enjoy the liberality.
A recent chat with, who I perceived as a conservative elderly lady actually left me feeling slightly proud of Thailands tourist image.
She found the ladies of Pattaya attractive and fun with their "Massage, massage" chorus; amongst other things.
Should Thailand remain a liberal tourist destination, or sterilize it's market to historical and temple tours?

But I suspect folk like that don't care about being found out, just like a salesman selling stuff, convincing folk to buy.
We have all been there for sure.....
But a salesman lying to sell has something to gain, a sale and some $$ (at the expense of his reputation).
What does something dredged from the riverbed have to gain by lying?

And last of all (from me anyway).
"It will never happen to me".

Another Thai scam...

And I sometimes look to see if the member is in the same area , or the same age-group; nothing sinister.

Wait until they start messaging you with their generous advice.

Other times it goes the other way. If I see a member posting stuff I like I will take a look at their other posts in case I have missed something.
Often I get visited by members who have been banned (their name comes up black, normally with zero posts). I guess they are phishing.
Nothing to see Gents, move along..

Not the full quid.

The attention seeking liars stand out in even the biggest crowd and are an embarrassment not only to themselves. Give them a very wide berth. It's the motives of the out-and-out Bullsh***ers which interest me the most. The odd lie here and there is tolerable - almost normal, if you like - but there are some folk who just can't stop themselves from uttering complete crap, day after day. I see them as sad individuals with a low self-image for whatever reason (maybe they are envious of people around them, who have happy and/or settled lives) and they're often desperate to somehow to attract public approbation, even from strangers. They usually fail, and end up as even greater buffoons, figures of fun with whom folk rapidly lose patience.
Those sorts of lies are plain sad, but as a previous poster said, when lies are used to attack another person, that is way out of line. There is something seriously wrong with anyone who does that. I don't really understand how it can make the liar feel any better.

With my name Phillip and my wife Tuk, we called our daughter Tulip (half Tuk half Phillip).
When we had a son I wanted to call him half Phillip and half Tuk...Phuk.
It didn't happen.

One of our neighbours is called "Fat", and yes she is. Not exactly endearing but she doesn't mind.
Most Thais will commonly call little boys "hum noi" or "small balls".
