I hear these stories alot..women being harassed at work place..there's something terribly wrong with the work place ethics here..knowing very well the women are married the old farts have to make a move on them..the karoake bar small wife & the University gik or whatever it's called is just not enough..they've to destroy perfectly happy families as well..but what pisses me off is that women don't react in the right way..they should be able to stand up to their superiors in such situations..a line should be drawn & it shouldn't be crossed..
Consider how male dominated Thailand is and also how thais bow down to authority almost like a natural reflex.
Keep boy scout uniforms out of this, thanks.
Is this some sort of riddle? I cant for the life of me understand what you mean.

I thought this thread would be about proper hydration or something.

On top of that you have the regular visa fee also I might add.
-
2500 tbh
If all of it goes to the consulate we will never know
-
I get your point now, yes I guess its a bit of a a scam but we all know its good old Thailand. I for one am willing to pay to avoid hassle.
-
No the scam would be the bribe to get more than three. I have no idea how it would play out if you attempted to secure a fourth visa yourself and not use an agent.
-
Fourth one no problem if willing to pay extra unofficial visa fee

Im leaving in a couple of hours to try and score a fourth. Cant say I have high hopes but Banana has said there is a possibility.

Yes I noticed it, stared myself blind on the circular one first.

Is this the red stamp? In the bottom right corner.

Bec. I have three SETV from Penang in my passport and they all have that stamp. Im asking bec I want to get a fourth one and Laos is pretty far.
If you mean the circular stamp then no.
Yes.
I emailed banana and asked about a possible fourth tourist visa and they are basically saying they can probably get me a fourth one if I dont have a "warning stamp". So it sounds hopefull.

Thx u!
Then you should have no problem.I only have one I think, from 9 months ago, three tourist visas apart from that if it makes any difference.
Andaman club should be ok or is Ranong a better option?

I have been looking through some threads and couldn't find any info, sorry if I missed something.
Im in Phuket and want to know if the minibus ride up to Andaman club will get me a 15 day stamp or are those days long gone?
Many thanks!

The funniest part is the claim that farang men in Thailand are living a life they earned. Coming from Western countries where high salaries are paid in return for minimal effort and where real estate booms have turned ordinary baby boomer generation people into owners of extremely overinflated real estate. Very interesting.
BTW I am not being a Thai apologist. I have been in Thailand long enough to be aware of the faults of Thai society. But I just thought it was a bit much to suggest asset rich farangs are financially comfortable entirely through effort alone.
High salaries for minimal effort? In Thailand people are paid to sit on a chair. Try doing any type of manual labour in the west at the pace thats used in Thailand and see how long before you are let go. As far as non manual labour I imagine its the same.
-
A little bump if I may.
Border run from Phuket to Andaman club for 15 day stamp still possible?
Thx.

Im repeating myself now but a small bunch of bananas were 59 baht in tesco today. I can buy them cheaper in Sweden where they have sailed half way around the world first. Can some one explain this?
-
I dont get it, feels like both fruit and veg has gone up tremendously, a lot of stuff is cheaper back home. Like bananas, and they grow like weeds here.

So I have three SETV in a row from Penang, getting a fourth one is not gonna happen I presume? Laos it is then? Or an extended holiday in Cambodia.

You think the supermarket has integrity and respect for you as a customer? The cashier is off the hook so no need to worry about her.The Op has integrity and wants to do the right thing without causing a problem for anyone else.
Obviously, some posters have no idea what integrity is.
OP, I would report it to the store and not bring the receipt to avoid problems for the cashier , pay what yo owe,
Then go home and sleep well.
I respect yo for your honesty..and integrity.
Any tips on losing a beer gut ?

I never said anything about weightlifting and fat loss, muscle maintenance is the most important thing while losing weight though. And for the regular person its always easier to cut down on food before going on the threadmill for 3 hours just so you can eat two more pancakes for dinner.
