The main stumbling block that us foreigners encounter when applying are the questions regarding employment. Fine if you are employed but what about those of us who are retired? That's where I and apparently many others got stuck. Someone on this forum finally came up with the answer. You call yourself 'unemployed' (technically true) and you give your home address as your work address (a stretch but good enough) It worked and my account was approved in just a couple of hours.

It's quite easy to set up an account as a foreigner. I did it myself about 3 months ago. I use mine in Lotus's and 7/11, my 2 nearest convenience stores. I pay my PEA, True internet and Netflix account and I do all my Lazada shopping with it. For me it's a very useful and convenient asset.

I never use cash in 7/11. Truemoney wallet always.

Why not just leave it to them? They have a lot more experience than you, or, I suspect any of us have. As far as the vented blocks in the bathroom are concerned, bathrooms need ventilation to prevent condensation and dampness. My advise is leave well alone.

No there won't be any 'court decision letters'. @BritManToo, that's not how it works. I also knew of 2 cases whilst I was living in Egypt. DWP simply told the culprits (a husband and wife) that they will have to repay the over payments and have their pensions pegged, just as @Stanton681 said. They were also told that if they wished to protest, they may do so, but that would result in a prosecution for fraud with the inevitable consequences. Their pension payments were withheld until they agreed to DWP's decision. Needless to say, they agreed.
