Good for Australia to get their own space program going. All of the world wants to use satellites for communication so I hope this is only the beginning for Australia.

I hope the whole world boycotts the USA and Trump. If everyone avoids visiting the USA and buying USA made products, maybe the American people will get tired of Trump and his policies. People who depend on tourist dollars are already hurting, and I do feel sorry for them in their present situation. Maybe in the mid term, the Republicans can become a minority party?

When I read of the history of the Palestine leadership in the past, The PLO did not behave very well. Read what the Palestines tried to to to the King of Jordan. Who did they cheer for during Iraqs invasion of Kuwait? I also wonder why Egypt and Saudi Arabia do not trust them? I agree it is a complex situation, and Hamas has to disarm and give up all the hostages. Isreal has to make the illegal settlements dissapear and maybe the futrure will be more peaceful. A 4 year old does not have the smarts to leave alone any where they can hurt them selves, especially 18 floors high in a high rise building. i hope he survives okay, but it was his careless parents who did not lock the door to the balcony. Just saying.

People who have fancy had bags and purses, should have the commone sense to leave them at home and use a common looking purse when they travel abroad. I have been to Thailand many times and I never wear any jewelery, like big gold neck bands etc, or fancy rings, as the thieves can be very determined to make my fancy stuff, their stuff. Use caution and remember where you are. In My Opinion. Oh and common sense is not that common.

Jail time then deportation to the home country of any foreignor who commit sex crimes, That is what should happen in any country.

For the expat who wonder what is the cause of this, I would suggest that you talk to some older Thai people who speak English, and you might find out. I just hope this conflict ends soon and there are not too many people dying from this situation.

I hope that people around the world boycott Trumps tariffs. If we all do not fly to the USA or buy USA made products, maybe the people of America will tell Trump to smarten up. No one likes a bully. I do not plan to visit anywhere in the USA while Trump is the president.. That is my boycott.

I know that at least the private hospitals have very good staff working there, at least the Saint Louis Hospital. I had heart surgury there and even though the cost was quite a lot, I am still alive to talk about it.

All travelers should be asked on arrival if they have travel medical insurance for their stay in Thailand. If not they should have to contact SMIG or other companies in Bangkok that can cover them for what ever time they stay in Thailand. If they claim that they do not have enough money to buy insurance, they should only get one week visa, and told to go back to their home cfountry then. Thailand, and the Thai people should not have to fund anyone from another country for medical expenses. In My Opinion. Harvey

Good for Ellen, if I was rich like her I would have moved as well. I think there are some Americans who are miffed by this news. Good old USA.

Just remember the real monks in Thailand do not behave this way. There are some, who are hiding in the temple for various reasons, but I never consider them as real monks.
