Sorry about that LL, I missed including the link https://www.medconsultasia.com/ -
Agree 100%, one also wonders if he has anywhere to actually fly to or if this is his only home....

That could work for him, better than a walk in clinic. If he is here in BKK he could go see Dr. Donna. -

Could be a form of herpes zoster or shingles virus -
lol....the Visa is just an ink stamp placed into the passport which fills up almost the entire page. It would have been nice if it was a true sticker like I have for the Original O-A visa from 2017 and 2019. Alas it is just a stamp and a stamp of poor quality which you can just barely read......Maybe those getting them from outside of Thailand at the Consulates or Embassies will get the nice Sticker with the Kingdom of Thailand across the top and the holograms.

PRD executives welcome visiting Russian ambassador
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I am sure he has been talking to his magic mirror like Snow Whites evil step mother. Someone needs to feed him a red apple and put him into a deep sleep like Cinderella with no princess kissing him to awaken the evil man. -
Daily shown here, not daily in the US I am afraid, and only huge stories in tge US get reported, but they are not allowed to video inside crime scenes or show bodies like they do here. Your view is self serving I am afraid.

Congratulations as well @Alotoftravel Yes my Visa start date for the 10 years started on October 7 2022, and ends on October 5 2032. The 5 year portion shows my admitted date as October 7th with an Until date of October 6, 2027. The Multiple re-entry permit stamp is Vaid Until October 6, 2027 as well. I did forget to ask whether or not the annual visit to Immigration for reporting can be negated by exiting the country just prior to year end and then returning just after the end of the first year and so on......It is a question I wished I had asked. They did staple the notice in my PP.

PRD executives welcome visiting Russian ambassador
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Putin has created a very unstable country in Russia. The only way forward is to remove him in any way possible and if that means making him a Martyr like Iraq did with Hussein and the US did by removing Bin Laden, then that is one way but will just create issues down the line. Russia is imploding and as the world can see, except some posters on here, this will end ugly one way or another. The USSR will never be reborn. -
Face masks still mandatory on public transport, cinemas in Thailand
ThailandRyan replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You sure do have a problem with folks wearing masks. Give it a rest and leave the people who want to wear them for there own personal reasons alone. -
Watching this mornings news it appears that the CNN News crew is in some seriously deep hot water after crossing over the wall at the school and going inside the crime scene to film. US news and there desire for sensationalism just irritates me with the need to be the first.

Spread thin, and working on over thousands of applications, I was told when I met them on Friday. As I said I was only the 15th one so far to be processed all the way through in actually obtaining the Visa. They indicated to me they have approved so many more, but with the system glitches folks are calling in and the staff is working as fast as they can in getting the folks appointments processed who are calling in who received the approval e-mail. I wonder how the Consulates and Embassies outside of Thailand are doing in assisting with the processing. Because they are inundated and the system issues that is also why it is so hard to get through on the telephone sometimes. As this is a very new process, they are experiencing some major glitches with the entire system and this includes the digital work permit as @Misty indicated above. Thankfully, I do not require a work permit. I wish all of you the best in obtaining your visa and can only say that things will get better and quicker as time goes on. Those of you who started this process are the first folks to be a part of the new LTR Visa system and I know as frustrated I was at first, having patience paid off, as well as self medicating after I received all of those internal e-mails by accident over a two week period for every single class of the LTR Visa. THat in itself was the frustrating part, as I also did not get a response to the e-mails I sent to them. However, when on the phone with them they patched me to a gentleman who was working with the IT group and he assured me that glitch was fixed. I have never understood why with the immigration programs they have never used an outside IT source to create the programs, but maybe they are afraid they will build a backdoor which would create issues later on. As I said I wish you all well. I will be navigating the system soon to assist my partner in obtaining her portion of the Visa she is also allowed to have.
