Does it matter, you will still see folks wearing a mask and many places will require it still as they are crowded much of the time, and are not public places, as much as folks want to think they are. Private places can require them if they see fit, just like wearing proper attire.

No degradation has occurred, new ways of communication have been learned and thus society moves forward in a different direction. Just left the Makro in Bang Phi. 100% mask usage, guard mentioned it to a customer entering and the man put his mask on.....as I was loading up the car a van pulled up next to us and 8 exited all wearing masks. No issues with masks unlike the anti masker brigade and I believe @Walker88 story. Listened last night to a group of foreign men making jokes of all the walking folks wearing masks calling then Sheeple....tossers all of them, must not have anything else to talk about.

Mo day while in Hua Hin we popped into Bluport. The scanners at the door were not manned and half if the foreigners we saw had no masks on while all others did.

It apparently has not trickled down to the regular folks here in BKK, out tonight on our walk, 99% wearing masks except the occasional foreigner. The temperature scanners are also still in place entering buildings and shops.

I would wear it just to keep the stench away from the un-showered ones. I use Vicks VapoRub on the inside of my masks to deaden the smell, much like I did when having to complete investigations in the green room of the coroners office back in the US.

I experienced exactly the same thing as you did, drove from BKK to Krabi then back up to Hua Hin and then Cha Am, just arrived home this morning. Only ones not wearing masks or wearing them as chin warmers were the few foreigners who were obviously tourists. The 5 star Hotel we stayed at in Phuket, required the masks while entering the dining room and then when picking up your food as well as wearing gloves. The same at the 5 Star Hotel in Cha Am......However, there were very few people in the two resorts we stayed in. Had a Doctors appointment this afternoon at the hospital and everyone outside on the street as well as in the hospital wore masks.

Again your putting your own views of what my comment meant into your own written views. Your view is a general assumption of what my 1st post said. "Unless they rewrite the constitution", no where did I say rewrite just the second amendment. Case in point is this "Look at what has happened here in Thailand with constant rewrites of the constitution and how it continually infringes upon rights people have had in the past",. Amendments are just that they are amendments which amend previous writs and rules and regulations. Yearly there are hundreds of attacks on the original constitution of the US because folks decide that the framers never took future generations into consideration........ Gun laws are continually changing and are constantly challenged and many have to be rolled back because they violate sacrosanct historical writs. Do you know how hard it would be to rewrite the US constitution or for that matter create a new amendment? Ergo why the Supreme Court rulings are the Laws of the Land, even though they get it wrong sometimes like Clarence Thomas did apparently.
