This lady went to Hua Hin where she was surrounded by police and military including an EOD team  and then claims tourists are confident.

i recall a contributor member here complaining that authorities were stopping him from taking photos in the after math of bombings saying it was going to affect tourism.

They only care about money not people's safety which is why governments have such detailed warnings as these .

You should be aware that some foreigners, including an Australian tourist, have been killed in these incidents. You can reduce the opportunity for such opportunistic theft by limiting the carriage of easily grabbed bags in public places.
