If someone from the ruling elites is found guilty , whose parents may even have friends in the Government the ""loss of face would be enormous"" this will not be permitted to happen.

Yes its most certain the killers will strike again according to leading criminal Quacks who study the behaviour patterns.
I viewed photos of the victims it was haunting and i regret doing so- but the images were sent in a click by a law enforcement friend.
Their view is the people who did this were particularly barbaric and most certainly crazed.
Extreme 1st degree Murders of the most heinous type almost always reoccur when sexual violations are also a part of the killings.
These people must be caught - it simply is true to say you do go there knowing they might well be the Water Taxi driver - Fruit stall man- bar staff - or beach comber passing you.?
These people are evil and almost certainly are deranged sexual predators who will lust for more of the same.
Yes it's very possible the murderers will become more brazen and audaciously attempt a second crime when the opportunity arises ( like Full moon parties)
It will completely destroy the Tourism if they did manage a second crime soon.
It's outrageous this event is still being held .
In the west car races are stopped , concerts cancelled , events cancelled when an accident causing death leads the celebration or event into tragic circumstances.
Thailand the show must go on .
Even with Murderers on the loose .
$$$$
No respect is bad enough but that's endangerment to public safety.
If something happens Thailand would certainly be crucified with staging the event.

Spite?
sauce?A Thai woman said to me it's the same as requesting we are dogs
She added they are deliberately killing tourism and says watch out holidaying here .
Maybe ?
But it seems to be the case that they chocolate coat a gross devaluation of their guests.

Failure for a diplomat like Kerry to shake someone's hand is not accidental--it is an intentional snub.Quote
"So when Mr Kerry did not make a superficial gesture and shake hands with Gen Tanasak as the Thai side wished, it became an issue we are losing face," the source said.
Unquote
Says it all this issue is world wide ....
Face has been lost regardless the culture.
Yes it seems deliberate and the Thais are very angry from what I hear....over on Thai forums that are sprouting all sorts of threats...
I think America have the right to reserve judgements .

Horrific shoreline .
Just so terrible so soon after ..will the deaths ever stop?
Cancelling my holiday (therez) to kinder shores.
Thailand so sad to see it run by military and become so violent
-
Am I right in thinking that Thailand refused to participate previously? Now they appear to be taking credit for the scheme.
................
I thought that too -- thanks for mentioning it
Give a man a rod and teach him to fish ........ever heard that saying ?
Instead of a fish ?
Yes I a sure you have ....
Thais claim to have invented that saying .
Am I surprised by anything ?
No .

Educate them on edicts first and they might be better equipped to keep work.
I sacked my two Thai staff after these murders were not taken seriously .
I fear many Thais will become Targets of retribution soon
Making innocent Thais the victim of unemployment , dumping girlfriends who are Thai , stop eating Thai , don't drink Thai , visit Thai , travel Thai.
This is all unfolding everywhere I see.
I heard of many Thai people getting caught up in this until justice is served .
Why did I sack my staff ?
They found the comments about Bikinis to be fine.
I waited a week then said times were tough ....goodbye
Simply not drinking a Thai beer or staying in a Thai hotel chain or eating Thai food will help get the message across in educating them

Is this sufficient evidence that would at least see him more questioned.?One of Sean's photos from Koh Tao. The man on the left looks remarkably like the man caught walking, and running in the CCTV. I find Sean's choice of words continually odd. Such as, wanting to kill us all one by one.
Also listen to the lyrics of this song written and sung by the same Sean McAnna, IMO some very troubling lyrics:
Seriously ?? he looks about 18 there lol
Maybe If you play it backwards you might even hear a hidden message from Satan.......
i can imagine what youd say if hed done a cover of Killer on the loose by Thin Lizzy ...
At least try to keep it real here eh ?
Take it easy!
Sean Mcanna posted it on his youtube profile himself 04/04/2014.
And Sean Mcanna is the guy to the left, NOT the younger guy to the right playing the guitar, and this video is probably made in 2014.
Thise are the lyrics of the song, or part of it, due to that english is not my first languish I can't get all the words, but maybe somone else can fill the missing parts in (the ??????? parts)
Stole the world by Sean McAnna
I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I killed
I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I killed
I'v got a hunger that's devouring me
and I'm trying to keep my sanity
sanity but I know I got to take it slow
I will be on the run for a while
but as long as I keep on bawling
????????????
????????????
and I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I killed
and I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I killed
I'v got a treasure that's possesing me
and I'm trying to keep my dignity
but I know, my life is done
look at this prodigal son
no were to go, no were to hide, no were to run
I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I'v killed
and I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I'v killed
Take my life if you want it
because I can't choose it anymore
there's the chance I can turn myself in
???????????
???????????
watching me destroy myself
???????????
???????????
and I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I'v killed
and I stole the world
with no remorse
for those I'v killed
This IMHO indeed seem to have bin written by a person who is struggling REALLY HARD with his own deep darkness and what it has led him to do in life...murder??? I don't know but in the context of the whole situation ???... it is IMO a possibilty, add to that all the blood on his guitar which indeed is another serious worry IMO.
I think some might answer yes.
The references are about killing.
No remorse .
Etc
And he did arrive the day of murders.
Lets just clear things up some more and ask him in for a few more questions .

With every new "development" my heart sinks a little more. I've never followed a crime quite so avidly before and it is having a profound effect on how I look at Thailand as a whole. I came to Thailand about 10 years ago because I loved it and wanted to live here, now I'm sick of it and can't wait to leave (next month with my Thai wife and daughter). Something has shifted here in the last 5 years or so, even Thais feel this. This is not the happy-smiley country it once was and it's getting uglier by the day. I personally won't be sorry to leave. This murder case has really been the last straw for me. It really is an appalling state of affairs. It just makes me depressed now.
Have you considered that the reason you find this so distressing is not because of the atrocity itself, but rather because you have been exposed to the vitriol of so many people with their own agenda, hubris and ego their main concern - not, as they profess with hysterical outrage, knowing anything. This is the modern world where everyone thinks it is their right to say anything, no matter how inaccurate, damning and plain spiteful.
So yes, I am also disgusted with this horrible crime, but unlike you I do not find this indicative of Thailand, nor Thai people. Whoever committed the crime is sick, and I truly hope justice is eventually served. But I am not going to be melodramatically screaming for results when many, many murder cases are never solved, or are solved years later.
This forum is just a platform for sick wannabees lately... Learn some respect.
The horrible crime is not indicative of Thailand or the Thai people. The ready acceptance of police lies, corruption, incompetence is. As is the readiness to believe what you want to believe. "They wouldn't have been murdered if they had not come, no Thai would do this, must be foreigner" syndrome.
Thai culture doesn't like conflict or accept being criticized. So a solution has the be found that avoids both, rather than one that relentlessly seeks out the truth. Add to that the influence of wealthy, powerful people, under the patronage feudal hierarchies that exist and you get more of an appreciation. Those with money, power, influence or from the right families are treated very differently than those who aren't. Non Thais receive very different treatment,
The fact that a very senior policeman can publicly state that evidence proves it was two Thai nationals, one of whom is arrested and the other on the run, and then a few days later the very (almost too) quick DNA test on one, and sudden appearance of witnesses claiming the other was in BKK at the time completely clears them. The bother/father of them then offers the police ThB 1m if they can prove his family was involved - nicely restoring family face and cementing his control over locals by showing his ability to directly challenge police authority. Gives an idea of some of the games being played - all driven by money. You think this is good in a society?
This forum is a discussion forum - not your personal forum where you set the rules, and decide what is acceptable or not. Learn some manners,
"Thai culture doesn't like conflict or accept being criticized. So a solution has the be found that avoids both". In other words it is an immature culture where anything can happen yet no one is ever held accountable. When westerners start accepting this morally dubious rubbish as normal behaviour the game is over. In Thailand "Thainess" trumps absolutely everything. Even from the outset before details were know the Thai PM no less stated that "Thais could never do this". This is the arrogant rotten mindset they have and all foreigners here are up against it. How much respect does Thai culture have for anything that isn't Thai ??? Learn some respect indeed !!!
This post is the closest I have read to absolutely true here so far.
It's sad .
Shocking .( to some)
But for many of us ...it's just knowledge we knew deep down ...for the more faithful a realisation.

Not saying all do mate but there are still questions to be answered, maybe will all come out soon when he sells his story.
1: I have no idea but just because a country doesn't have an extradition treaty with another country,Did i read on hear Sean is in Italy with a girlfriend ?
If he is funny it is a country with no extradition treaty with Thailand.
I am sure Sean is involved, you don't live somewhere for 18 months basically bumming a living without getting involved in the dark side.
does that mean they will never extradite anyone to a country they have no extradition treaty?
2: I live since nearly 40 years on this islands (with short interruptions) and although I know quite a
few, I had never the desire or the need to get involved with the "dark side" of this islands.
Just don't understand why he was not kept back for further questioning.
Well his story might pay £300 ,000 pounds and a book deal of £500,000 ....that's a lot of money and if promised in part to the people who let him cash in on the whole affair ( he arrived day they were murdered)
Perhaps it's worth it?
Several people get loot.
Culprits shot dead .
Case closed .
This whole thing has destroyed Thailand s image.
People now know things are not as they seemed .
That brutal crimes can be committed and no one charged and a smoke screen placed up.
That suspects get little pressure or none.
Worse that empathy is lacking .
Blame attributed and money the only worry.
Maybe Sean learnt its a Thai thing .
And now will wait until he trades it all in for his pound of flesh and sterling cash.

It's illegal in Thailand to disagree ( or indeed here)
So I won't say anything adverse to ""dear leaders claims"
But now human nature is being reviewed by him.
Let us hope basic formats can be established that satisfy his required tastes
I guess the bigger question is should a man running the country introduce himself into even the world of free television ideas like soap opera scripts.
Does it not sound just a tad intrusive ?
I put that question on twitter and 91% said it did

Glad you think shutting them out out of Australian soil is comedy-Australia have been widely seen as showing great principle in banning the Thai military and their non elected representatives (all 200) and their Families from setting foot in Australia.
Please note supporting the Junta (even here) may get your entry into Australia refused By immigrations officials if you are asked and you advise them of support- or your support matched with data banks.
Juntas are not widely supported in western democracies
Pure comic genius !
I enjoyed it do.
Quote June 2014 SMH
"Australia downgraded ties with Thailand on Saturday, imposing a travel ban on junta leaders and cutting defence co-operation, the toughest measures taken by a foreign government since the change of regime""

Also please note That supporting any undemocratic Government or Terror group will cause your request to enter Australia to be assessed.
If that would be true all our Red Shirt cheerleaders would be in trouble. Good thing it isn't true.
You seem misinformed .
The previous democratically elected Prime minister of Thailand YS was warmly welcomed in Australia.
The Ban is on non elected leaders and their families .
Eg the current Junta .
It is indeed true that they are banned from entering Australia .
A quick google could confirm this.

Could be that Sean liked photos ?
I postulate that perhaps he was the one having a friendly cigarette with the two on the beach. The beach is just over the road from the ac bar and their accomodation if I am not mistakenSean McAnna's Google Plus profie containing many, many photographs of his life in Koh Tao, and some intering ones at that.
https://plus.google.com/101768055405292405319/photos
These photo's show how close he is/was with local Thai friends. Lots of photos in particular of fellow bar workers... and 2 who look extremely like the man in the CCTV. Sean writes that he will kill us all 'one by one'. Thats a normal statement to make isnt it. Sean views himself as anti-authority, anti-power, anti-control, and posts a photo implying he tkes drugs and is 'hippy type'. He is convicted of possessing indecent images of children. Each time i have tried to write my thoughts here, i have ended up writing too much, so im trying to keep this brief. I have followed this case with a very heavy heart from day 1. Like many of you, I just cannot switch off in the hope justice comes for David and Hannah.
One of the first posts on David Millers Facebook, after his murder was reported, was from Sean McAnna. He said something along the lines of 'F*** no brother, tell me it isnt you.' I find that odd. The second post from Sean, to Davids Facebook, was a long post explaining how he wished he was there and had gone out with him that night, as they had arranged to meet, but he had fallen asleep and didnt make it. Why would you say that. Yes some would say he was getting guilt off his chest. I however would say he was talking to the public. Telling everyone that he was not there. Why did Sean say 'I know you tried to save her' and then later write a post, again addressing the public on Davids Facebook profile, that 'it was just a guess'. Has Sean's phone been taken and annalysed? Have they retrievedall his data, present and deleted, from this month? Have they found the texts or phone calls leading up to and after the murders? Has proof been found about this arranged meet up between himself and David? Missed calls or a Text from David on the night, asking Sean why he hadnt arrived, and if he was coming? Has Davids phone been annalysed? It has been reported that Hannah's phone is missing, but what about Davids? MAybe that was left at the hotel, when he went back at 1am. Chris Ware said he then went back out, to get cigarettes, but we know David ended up back in the club. Sean posted more lengthy posts to Davids profile. Again addressing the public. Telling people to do something that David would do. Buy 2 breakfasts and share with a homeless person etc. Why was he addressing the public. Attention seeking at its worst, or an oscar winning performance of a guilty man fronting innocence and confidence. Sean and David met just last year, and yet Sean was displaying more misplaced heartache than any other person on Facebook. As we know, Sean used his Facebook a lot after this. He very quickly however, went on to post nothing but Scotland independance posts and photos. Until the whole Thai Mafia saga. Unfortunately, Sean deleted his account, and so i have not hd the chance to search his friends list to see what company he keeps. It has been reported that a spa worker, Jok, helped clean blood from Seans face and body. We know from Andy Lines reporting, that Seans guitar was covered in blood. Why? Has this been tested? In photos of Sean having an interview as he left the island, you can see a deep injury to his right forearm, light scratches to his left wrist, and what appears to be another injury concealed under his many bracelets. What are these and what caused them? On the koh Tao Community Board, a woman posted an image of a motor bike found 'deep in the thick north Sairee jungle'. She said is was clean, and looked very odd, just abandoned in the thick. She asked members IF she should report it to Police, and later announced she did, and that Police were kind and helpful. Who's bike was this? Why was it hidden? They must get Sean McAnna and spend more time questioning him.
David probably wanted to try one more time to see his friend before leaving the island so messages would be very helpful but should be able to be fully checked through FBI or the yards tracking and hacking mechanisms.
I would then postulate that some Thai men came down possible started shoving David and things got out of hand. Sean tried to act as the peacemaker and perhaps because of his relationship with the locals was advised to leg it out of there before he was hurt. They have him a chance.
Alternatively Sean did make it to the beach to play the guitar heard what was going on left the group and saw what was happening and again was advised to leg it if he knew what was good for him or he d cop the same. Scrambling up the rocks would cause cuts and abrasions no doubt. He likely witnessed David's body bloodied and being dragged into the ocean. With that vision and a warning he fled rather than man up.
You can't blame him but he didn't get help and thats where his conscience is maybe coming into play.
All pure speculation and to be honest I am not willing to accept this guy as the scapegoat. If there was any way on gods green earth that this could have been pinned to Sean it would have happened.
Maybe his child porn conviction was not of a young child but a girl in her teens eg 15-17 years old.
Maybe Sean has a history of capturing images on the island ?
The hypotheticals could be along the lines of a suitable Model was on the island .
And him and his sick Thai mates had plotted it all.
The fake leads away from the real killers .
The DNA .
The story and social media wild goose chase.?
And we may never know his involvement or the killers.
And hopefully no footage will ever emerge .
But it's possible Hannah was groomed by one or more males .
David objected to some approaches but didn't know the extent of the prior grooming.
She was isolated .
And something went wrong , very wrong.
And the blood stains said to have been washed of Sean ?
Missing crucial mobile evidence?
There are indeed signs a westerner is involved as the clues were removed and the fake leads installed.
Sean appeared on the day the murders were to take place.
He had worked previously there for 18 months without a work permit ( illegally)
This isn't uncommon with many DJs or bar staff .
However, he knew many many locals .
His personal photos reveal a hedonist lifestyle full of what appears to be carnival style personal choices.
Did his fetishes manifest here?
Was Sean troubled and living a darker existence then the world knew?
Who and why were the players on this beach there the day he arrived?
Was he indeed on that beach that night?
Had this murder left us clues that we simply missed and need to dig deeper?
Shouldn't it start with ""persons of interest "" their histories and phones ?
The victims themselves ?
Any relationships or motives .
Phone texts .
Call times.
Piece things together.
It seems Sean does indeed know something.
But what?
Could the whole social media stunt simply be a decoy ?
Allowing him to exit quietly ( the country after due exhausted leads?) the accused provide excuses and the killers left to lay low?
This is a mystery Island murder story that shouldn't be left to the historical past.
But kept alive even with speculation ....if it keeps the tourist public aware it went unsolved.

There was definitive advice early on that there was CCTV footage of a female running, that police had under wraps. Do you know if this has seen the light of day yet ? Or if it even exists? It was purported it was possibly hannah running ..
Yes I heard on twitter it existed and was taken and gone .
And the Thais who had it recorded now denying it existed.
It's all a bit too much .
Horrible .
-
There is nothing left to say ....
It's clear theses people have utter disregard to civilised norms and this case will go unsolved.
I urge those of you that care to quietly do your best to make a pact with your conscience when booking a holiday.
Don't let them win be balanced and honourable in your choices.
Send a message by the many.
By actually changing where you go.
If this is unsatisfactory to you take that next step .
Think of the horror this young woman endured.
Keep your dignity and boycott
