Tried to get a Certificate of Entitlement done by them and it took 2weeks and was signed by AA Insurance in Hua Hin??? Darren definitely missed!

Depends on the wind strength and direction and rain. No rain and gentle wind from the N drives pollution from crop burning in the N towards Pattaya. Rain and wind from the S over the sea drives pollution away. Particularly bad this year as can be seen by smoke drifting across route 7 from the hills to the N of Pattaya. Don't understand why anybody would want to burn hillsides like this although I read that Thais do this either to clear land for planting or drive out animals for the pot.

Yes wise transfers are coded as FTTs at Bangkok Bank-dont know about SCB as they wouldn't let me open an account despite having a mortgage with them. I collect Credit Advices every month and my branch will do a 12 Mth statement based on them

Missing the point! Due to mobility problems I am unable to attend Bank or Immigration!

Can anyone recommend a No Show agent in Pattaya.
Financials and bank book are all in order but
my wheelchair is broken so cannot attend banks or Immigration.
Key Visa did the last retirement extension but without Darren (bless his cotton socks) they are struggling.
Recommendations for an agent to do everything for me much appreciated.
Dissing agents services is of no help.

A no show agent is worth their weight in gold if it prevents queuing at the bank X 2 often outside in the sun if they are imposing COVID restrictions and then X 2 at immigration especially if you need a wheelchair. My last agent charged me 16.5kbht and my bankbook showed well in excess of the required FTTs and I do my 90 day on line hence any recommendations? Just asked my current agent to do a certificate of entitlement and it's taking a week!

Yes you can just get an agent to do the work
Take bank statement address and what ever they to ask for .to their office and get them to do the rest collect passport a few days latter all done including application fee. Of 1,900 total 8,000 .it's worth it no hassle at immigration at all..
That's a good price - can you pass on the agents details?

Anybody have experience of getting a stair lift fitted in Pattaya? Not interested in through floor lifts! Just the ones that ride up existing stairs. Companies that fit them and approximate cost would be helpful. We have the usual double flight stair so it would need to go round 3 corners at bottom mezzanine and top. Wife just wants to move my bed to the ground floor but I see that as one step closer to the temple!

I get them as well. With me its down to accessing the house using iron gates for leverage with my hands full. Any knock will do it. Press down on it with your finger and it won't go away because it's under your skin. I am on warfarin and diuretics and I now have no fat on my upper body. 77 before you ask!

I won't fly with Eva again as I booked an aisle seat and they plonked a so called sick farang in it leaving me with a window seat. Fell over on the travellator at Suvarnabhumi looking for my family!

I simply ordered another physical card and put just enough money on it to pay online for something I need right before the payment.
And as most of the time it has near zero balance I do not care if I leave its credentials on a malicious website.
Clever and worth copying

Typically Thai!
They have doubled their prices so they are hauling half the passengers for the same revenue.

I always collect Credit Advices from BB for all my transfers. Better safe than sorry. Never had a problem using Wise which always shows as a FTT in my BB passbook.

Best not to paint in the first place as you will need to keep doing it and repainting will be a big job and not last as long as first coat

They should issue the visa for 12 months.
The visa validity is unrelated to the expiry date of your passport. You cannot transfer the visa to the new passport, you will need to carry old and new passports when traveling/doing a border run.
Visa validity will be till your passport expiry date. If you want 1 yr extension you must have 1 yr on your passport

I'm sure customs and a courier will double the fee! Always best to buy in Thailand

Are there Pattaya Kamphaengphet direct bus routes?

Is there an agent price differential between no funds and full funds but no attendance at IO?

About time the reneging embassies provided the service all the others do!
Confidentiality and liability never worried the others. Maybe the 3 in question were unable to agree how to share the fee???

They are very fast seizing properties from suspects , even there is no evidence yet that the money used to acquire these properties was ' dirty money " . Guess somebody has an idea about the ' redistribution ' of the assets already ....
Yes 30pc 'finders fee'to arresting officer!

We had the same experience. Apparently the warantee just covers the motor and as we had a broken thermostat it was cheaper to buy a new fridge
