Used Wise for nearly 10 yrs and never had a transfer in seconds!  I always  plan for a next day receipt also allowing for w/e and holidays .  I think Thai banks slow things down.

For a few days now we can't book a home food delivery from Pattaya and Jomtien with Grab. It started on the fireworks festival and has not resumed. Usually several houses in our village get deliveries every evening and now we don't see any. Possibly the riders are restricting themselves to central Pattaya so they can get more deliveries in and earn more money? Anyone else experiencing this problem? We try at least 3 restaurants and eventually give up!

Ford have a nasty habit of ducking responsibility and the maintenance of older models to try to get you to upgrade just like iPhone.  Also Ford have far to many recalls for faults.  Stick with your  Toyota!  

I'm watching on CCtv5+ courtesy of  CCP on Thipanee.  Also on internet I have BBC via Express VPN. Doofootball on internet works although often freezing and it's fiddly  trying to find an English commentary  and I have to turn off the  VPN

You aren't locked in to an agent  if you follow the  financial  rules in full and can prove it.  I use the monthly FTT as evidence but my agent only wants to see my bankbook- no discount  offered.  With mobility problems I just can't manage the trips to the bank with covid queuing in the sun outside plus covid queuing outside and then inside Immigration exposing me to infection and considerable discomfort. With my agent I don't even have to go anywhere  near Immigration!

Yes as you will only get an extension till your passport  runs out.  I had to renew mine 9mths before it ran out to get the full 12mths extension.

Never flown Eva before, 90% B.A., then Thai, Emirates. Eva seems to have good baggage allowance  - not that I need it.

Forget choosing  your seats-we booked 3 in a row  for our family and I was unceremoniously  bumped from an aisle  to a window seat  on the other side of the plane because I  found a supposedly  sick man in my seat-never fly Eva again! 

Much more concerned that  Tipmanee Pattaya has stopped  showing  EPL!

Happily watching  all EPL matches and suddenly they stopped showing  them.  Channels previously showing every game now showing soaps, badmington, ladies golf and other assorted  rubbish. What's happened? EPL much better than World Cup!

CDs don't work at all.

Eventually pigeons will break through  netting.  If building unnocupied they will even break windows.  Need to make them very uncomfortable. Asian cuckoos Koel  will steal and replace their eggs.  BB guns upset Thai Bhudists!

All of a sudden Tipmanee Cable has stopped broadcasting  the EPL? Have been  watching  their extensive coverage of  live matches for several years so surprised their sports channels  have now changed to minority sports and strange soaps? Anything  to do with  upcoming  World Cup? 

Internal ac will  leak if not cleaned every 6mths-pipe blocks and condensate cannot  get away.  Always  check that condensate  is dripping  outside.  500bht to clean otherwise. Tenants responsibility as you are using the ac and it's your dust and dirt blocking the drainage channel.

You are lucky!  My experience of  Customs and DHL was that the cost of the item ordered tripled when  it reached them in Thailand.  I told them to  return to  sender and got a full refund  through  Visa. Purchased a similar  item in Thailand for a fraction of the  price! Moral is when in Thailand Bye Thai!

I too have changed from 8yrs of self inflicted marriage  extensions to agent procured retirement partly due to mobility problems at immigration bank amphur and covid based access  controls in the heat  and partly because the year long planning and  preparation stress me and my wife more each year. Yes it is expensive but if you add up all the consequencial costs of annual preparedness it's well worthwhile 

Thailand sucking up to dictators because they need to keep China at arm's length whilst enjoying  their money, need to get discounted oil from Russia,  need Russian and Chinese  Tourists,  and oh yes Thailand has a pretend democracy too!
