Will people who have had two jabs funded by the government be eligible to receive Moderna jabs that they paid for months ago?

I believe that there is no charge from banks in Thailand for incoming funds from companies such as wise because the baht you are buying is already here in Thailand . That is the reason for the lower charges and better rates .
Waiting for the negative comments . But that is what i have read and believe to be correct .
Wise charges a fee to access ones funds from the originating source bank.

One thing I’ve learned after dealing with Immigration for the past ten years is that forward planning is essential. Why? One must always anticipate changes from previous attempts to accomplish just about anything with our friends at the IO.
In my area we can apply 45 days ahead of the expiration of extensions of stay. I try to gather all the parts and pieces needed and head to the IO at least a month ahead of time. In this way, if some unanticipated obstacle appears I have plenty of time to address it.
My BKK Bank branch in past years always needed 7 days to obtain my annual statement. This year they quoted 3-5 days. Lo and behold they delivered it to me after three business days.

My bank is Bangkok bank to recieve Uk sterling and nationwide Bank in Uk to send, its only 20 pounds . I want to send the maximum 2,000,000 baht but not sure to use Wise or Swift bank transfer . Any suggestions Thanks
Suggest you compute the net result of both methods by comparing the bank fees on both ends and using the BKK bank exchange rate compared to the Wise fee and the Wise exchange rate. Don’t forget that BKK Bank also charges a fee for the incoming funds and bkk bank has a less advantageous exchange rate than wise. BKK bank does NOT charge a fee for funds coming in via Wise.

Sept 24 is listed on the Thai immigration website as a holiday. No extensions for you!

I frequently use Qatar to fly from bkk to lax. I’ve always had excellent experiences with them. The airport in Doha is great. The service on the planes is always excellent. The planes themselves are new and although the flight from Doha to Lax is quite long, the entertainment system provides a lot of selections to pass the time. Dress comfortably, sit back and enjoy the flight. Oh, and drink plenty of water and don’t sit in your seat the entire time…get up and walk around……
If possible, upgrade to business. The Q Suite experience is well, well worth the extra cost. Either way, economy or business, you’ll find it a better experience than JAL. I did….many time!

Hi everyone,
I’m looking at health insurance coverage from a company based outside of Thailand as I don’t need the coverage for my extension of stay. I’m more interested in just limiting my financial exposure should I become ill or become an accident victim.
Has anyone had experience with Health Care International company based in the UK?
if so, how is their claim service? I think general customer services will be managed at the local level by a broker so I’m not necessarily interested in broker referrals here, just anyone’s experience with this particular company.
Thanks for your help!

I always ask the doc to write down the name of the meds for me so I can get them at a local pharmacy. Saves dough!

You should make more of these funny remarks on more topics... Oh, think you already do.
Keep up the good work. People are really interested in your contribution.

However, to answer your question...
(which you probable have thought long about, and even thought to have a smart question, for a change)
No. We do our business and personal finance together. Practical to have access to all accounts.
If you are in a relationship where trust is not an issue, this comes naturally.
Good luck with your partner and try to get some more intelligent questions next time.
Oh, SNAP!

I'm in Phuket now doing my sandbox thingy and the only business that enjoys the weaker baht and seem to thrive and do a land office business are the countless number of massage shops with plethora of lasses manning the shops...
Are there laddies manning any shops there? Asking for a friend!

Homemade bombs using ping-pong balls. Now THERES an image!
The acts of desperation. The rebuttals using rubber bullets. The slow descent into chaos……. The lack of vaccines alone is not to blame. It seems it’s the icing on the cake, tho!

They extended it already with 1 year on the original timing .....
I understand. But, what’s the rush? Is the scheme underfunded? Do they project severe losses? I’m not a Thai baht millionaire worried about it. I’m just curious!

Will those of us who received two govt paid vaccine jabs, Sino/AZ combo be allowed to receive the Moderna jabs we paid in advance for? I see potentially benefits but I’m not sure hospitals will follow through even if we’ve paid for them.
