Another example of farang second.
My lady gets sinovac day one, followed by Astra Zeneca day 23.
Certainly a different time frame.
The optimal time frame between AZ shots is 12 weeks, but they are giving AZ as a second shot to sinovac after 3 to 4 weeks. Nothing to do with being a foreigner. You actually ended with 2 AZ shots, and that is better than mixed. An example of Thai second???

Really, i did not know that, also i don't claim to be one. But going back to the subject peer reviews are meaningless and the worlds greatest scientists of the past did very well with them.
You have anything to back up that statement? Seems like a convenient way to legitimize junk research intended only to support alt-right narrative.

My wife paid for moderna in October. So this is not the case anymore?
They sold 9 million doses in total but are only getting 4 million at most in the 4th quarter (after giving 1 million to the Red Cross). It will be a matter of where you are in the Q and more importantly, who you know, in order to get Moderna in the 4th quarter.

How do they define that the lockdown has been "20% effective", when numbers continue to rise?
What does that even mean?
The R factor in a pandemic determines ability of the virus to spread. R > 1 means that each infected person infects more than 1 person. The higher the R number, the higher the case increase. Lockdowns don't eliminate the virus, but they can reduce the R factor because of the reduction in contact between people. When they talk about a 20% reduction, you can see the impact on the case increase when R goes from 1.1 to 0.9. And a further 5% reduction would have an even greater impact on reducing the case growth.

it is a very delicate issue. i think the vaccine should be a personal choice. but i agree maybe for a certain period of time, certain places should require vaccination. figuring out what those places are is very tough. i know some countries/regions are further ahead than others on this issue.
I think its very easy to determine vaccination requirements. Just match smoking requirements. Smoking is a personal hazard and a hazard to others, the same as an unvaccinated person. Just apply the same restrictions. People accept the current smoking restrictions already, so why should this be any different?

yes, hard to admit, but true : VACCINES ARE NOT WORKING !!!
The vaccine definitely does not work for the idiots who can, but won't take it.

Would this vaccination cocktail be recognised in Western countries is you had to travel?
Some countries, like Canada, have been mixing AZ and Moderna, and recognize mixed vaccines. However, Sinovac will be problematic since it hasn't been recognized in most Western countries. Also, according to someone who's applying for a Chinese visa, China is only accepting Chinese vaccines.

Why is it that since many months we dont hear anymore of road accident DEATHS ?Just like before the vaccins every dead body was related to Covid, despite those people had died from heart, lung, kidney or so many other deseases. People WAKE UP and stop listening to the MSM or the Government narratives. Those PCR tests are worth nothing. Listen to the real experts via alternative media who do REAL research, and when they have PROOFS they show the real FACTS. In MSM they only telling LIES because they're GETTING PAID FOR THAT !!
Searching Google and watching dodgy youtube videos while on the toilet with your pants around your ankles does not constitute research.
But you managed to get all the tin foil hat words into one post. Congratulations!

Norway is also mixing vaccines now. First jab Pfizer and second jab Moderna. This so that as many as possible can be vaccinated in the shortest possible time.
Norway have earlier rejected both the AZ and Johnsson vaccines.
That's one of the reasons canada went with an Astra/Moderna approach. Earlier on there were vaccine supply issues, but once the Astra risks (even though small) and higher Moderna efficacy rates were identified, they switched to the hybrid approach.

why are they still doing the ignorant closures, such as golf courses, parks or swimming pools?
I think its unrealistic to think that a golf foursome will wear masks and maintain social distancing during play or for any after play socializing. That's 4 people from 4 households that can be a vector for spreading.

Sinovac/Astra will not be accepted because sinovac is not approved in canada, and most likely never will.

I'm not denying anything but I'm certain numbers can always be manipulated and inflated for the benefits of of few elites over the majority of the public, and I see the whole thing as developed world taking advantage of the developing world to put them under pressure so they buy their vaccine formula. Always follow the money you will find the answers.
How come the UK is allowing Americans to enter, while the US is not trusting the AstraZeneca efficiency so they won't let britons in, Interesting.
And they announced the Us is donating 500 million vaccines to 92 lower income countries, what are the terms or the price for this donation ?
I think Covid is real and deadly but at the end of the day it's a Virus like other vicious viruses.
Like other deadly viruses? That is quite a dismissive statement. Please list the other "vicious viruses" in the last 50 years that have infected almost 200m people and killed 4m in an 18 month time frame.

today 108, so really not growing.
Infections might be rising by thousands daily, in the long run it means herd immunity.
Just don't hospitalise asymptomatic, waste of health resources and unnecessary risk for medics
The deaths always lag the cases by 3+ weeks, and cases have just started on the logarithmic path now. So your "not really growing" statement is a little premature, and given the delta variant and almost no vaccinations, I suspect that death rate will increase considerably over the next month. This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

We in a vaccines deficit world and all vaccine can contribute to reducing the risk of symptomatic and severe cases of Delta.
Researchers analysed the Delta infections in Guangzhou and results based on blood samples showed a threefold reduction in neutralizing effect against Delta. Malaysia and Singapore have approved Sinovac in their fight against the pandemic.
The misinformation for Sinovac is no different from the antivaxer misinformation in red states USA..
Malaysia is phasing out sinovac because it is garbage. They will not be getting anymore and replacing it with mRNA vaccines. Did you get 50 cents for your Chinese misinformation post?

in bangkok and neighbouring provinces they are all full.
from a cluster of about 20 infected on my doorstep, only 1 was hospitalised. The first one detected. I don't think he was in a serious state, but he and his mother work at hospital, so it was easier to find bed for him.
Foreigners tend to go to hospitels, you need private health insurance or fork out 40k.
This is a very positive development. There are positive cases in my building, but a lot of the foreigners don't want to test if they have no symptoms, because that currently involves a hospital stay. And some insurance won't always cover the case where you got tested with no symptoms - they require that a doctor ordered the test based on symptoms, and then the patient was admitted to the hospital based on the positive test. So, maybe this will stop asymptomatic cases from walking around spreading the virus if they can test at home and isolate at home.
