Worth remembering that it was the USA who saved Thailand from world-wide recriminations following Thailand's cooperation with Japan during WW2, and it was the USA who then supported Thailand militarily and financially thereafter.

I am told you can use the yellow book and pink ID card for reporting online, so worth a try. You will find the pink ID card more useful generally than is indicated on this forum.
