    That's true. If so, the authorities could have reported openly from the start and avoided speculation but, instead, chose to let the entire affair become a farce. Thaksin is an ex-policeman which is probably why he is receiving treatment at an RTP hospital. On the plus side, he was the instigator of the 30 baht health scheme during his PM tenure.

    AIS prepaid 12Call have made a lot of money from me by deactivating SIMMs that have not been used beyond a certain date. Each time I visit Thailand I have to buy a new SIMM. I now am the owner of multiple SIMMs all except one inactive. Any messages I get from AIS are in Thai language and are ignored. No doubt I am just one of thousands.

    I suggest this was not a 'trailer' with 18 wheels but a truck/trailer combination i.e. a 10 wheel truck towing an 8 wheel trailer. The driver was not driving the trailer but driving the truck. The braking issue of the front vehicle was actually the truck.
