  1. Snorkels don't work under water.
  2. Car sales agents prefer cash in order to extract their 'commission'
  3. Tut tut! Its a fawn with stripes.🙄
  4. No mention of the woman's injuries. No details of the 'crossbow' The shot to her forehead and shoulder caused no serious injury? Perhaps a child's toy utilising darts with plastic suckers on the tips? The lady did the right thing and is to be commended which is more than I can say for writer of the report.
  5. Pushes elevator call button. opens phone screen and locks in Hears 'Ting' as elevator arrives and door(s) hiss open. Steps forward still gazing at phone "Aieeeeeee........." Sound of dull thud.
  6. Probably heard about the abundance of road-kill in Thailand.
  7. Assuming this refers to a standard 200 litre capacity drum transported in the cargo tray of a standard pickup truck. Even Thai law requires that hazardous liquids transported by road must be clearly labelled with the appropriate International hazard code for the cargo. This enables emergency responders to identify the cargo and react accordingly. Looking at the OP pictures of venting vapour, anyone within a 100 metre radius not wearing a respirator could be at risk. But let's just stand around and watch phones on video. 🙄
  8. Look on the bright side. She was supported by 'virtual hugs' and 'positive vibes'
  9. Btavo Sierra. Cha Am beach is in Phetchaburi Province. This report concerns Prachuap Khirikhan Province. Access to the beach for a long strip of this coastline requires descending a stepped breakwater pften slick with wet slime requiring sure footing.
  10. Look at it as less than a fare more of an insurance premium.
  11. And this will be the last we hear from the operators.......
  12. With the Red Sea embargo the extra journey time around the Cape should ripen up durian nicely for the Europen market. Rotterdam; stand by to evacuate!
  13. But even they leave a deposit......
  14. Tearing off his pants whilst riding at speed and obstructing an emergency vehicle shows some skill. 😀
  15. Do I detect just a hint of sarcasm in this post? 😀
  16. The responsible department for this year's campaign can claim success. They have not had to report a Disaster so their mitigation has been a success. For the 2024 campaign we can expect to a special statistical category for burning EVs.
  17. I'm back home in UK now and seven hours behind Thai news. Can I assume that it has been determined the wheel had not been correctly locked following installation?
  18. I was wondering whether the wheel producer also makes the bearing in-house. Unlikely. Probably 'bought in' It matters when apportioning blame. Bombardier is a large and trusted company and would ensure their Chinese production company manufacture to a high standard. Speculation I know but I expect the whole incident to die with little or no media follow-up reports.
  19. From the linked report: Everyone was asleep when the tyre burst, leading the van to crash into the tree. The driver too.
  20. Clearly he's referring to the guide dogs which some vision impaired drivers rely on.
  21. True. The guide wheel is one of four mounted vertically on a bogie secured by a stub axle. If the axle is still in position complete with bottom nut and plate thewheel could only fall off if the entire bearing disintegrated. If the bottom nut and plate loosed, unscrewed and fell off the wheel would follow. Since the reports mention bearing I assume the wheel attachments are in place. What do you think?
