  1. Xtrafly I would seriously consider the area called Rawai Beach.  Close proximity to Phuket town and great beaches as well as being one of the few areas in Phuket still lively.  The infrastructure is good regarding roads, internet, restaurants etc.  I have spent a couple months there a short while ago.

  2. Around town anything above 150cc is a waste.  Even the highways put limitations on reasonable cc sizes here given the stray dogs, food carts, potholes and a multitude of unpredictable hazards.  Unless you are lucky enough to live in a sparsely populated rural area with a good piece of asphalt you will find cruising around 80-90 km per hour for safety reasons.  In America or Europe a big bike presents many more opportunities for safe high speed travels.

Thailand’s Department of Rail Transport (DRT) has requested that passengers no longer talk on trains in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As well as wearing face masks and making sure they socially distance, passengers should not talk to one another or on the telephone, the DRT chief Kittiphan Panchan said

    Think Different.

almost beyond comprehension... they used to say in the soviet union that pravda could and would say anything they wanted to regardless of whether the people believed them or not because it was all about humuliating them by their inability to do anything about it. i see the same thing happening in the mainstream media around the world.

It’s obvious who dropped the ball on Covid but the blames keeps getting deflected to the people, for breathing, eating, trying to work, trying to exercise, trying to survive. How about somebody in authority organizing vaccines (that work) for everybody like many other countries are doing! Before you know it all people living in Thailand will be told to stay home, not go out and save the country that the leaders have failed to save????

save it from what once covid finishes more people will die on the roads in one month than all of covid...

The government has started doing Rapid Antigen testing at three locations today with a fourth on Wednesday. Today they expect to process 1,000 tests per location (results in 30 minutes) but this will be increased to 10,000 tests per day for the four locations ( Nation Photo)

test and you will find same thing would have happend a year ago had they bothered to test rather than beating their chests about how they were the best at containing covid.

The Click is just the better bike, comparing just the price tag doesn't make much sense. I think both bikes are priced reasonable for what they offer, you get what you pay for.

I have ridden both and don't necessarilly belive the click is any better.

Why? So people in Phuket won't go to hospital - but people in other provinces will go to the hospital ?  I don't think so.

    Its all relative.

It's only relative with equal testing.  Once again there is little motivation for a thai to voluntarily go to a hospital and  tested individuals are the ones most likely going to the hospital.  Unless we can see testing data the number of daily cases is not comparable across regions.

can you post the testing data for a reasonable time frame between regions here?
