Indeed - its the same consideration thou across all of Thailand.  The same factors I believe apply.  So if Phuket hospitals have less in the hospital, it should not be different from elsewhere in Thailand.

not so as I have said testing equals hospital entries... if not testing very few will voluntarily go to the hospital

Yes - every day since early April, I have copied to a spreadsheet the data for Phuket, Bangkok, Chon Buri, SamutSakhon and mostly (but not all) for Chiang Mai.

Its too much work to do it for more than those provinces and I have my own personal reasons for being interested in those.

i see case data but not testing data that is what is needed can we see these

Indeed. Why would Phuket be different?  Many (most ) other provinces in Thailand have hospitals being swamped. Phuket is not.

Does that mean Sinovac actually works?  That it stops hospitalisation?   ... I am a bit skeptical there - and I believe the more likely explanation is Phuket simply does not have as many cases.

Whats your view on this ?  Effective Sinovac?

those tested and positive go to hospitals in many cases.  i know a couple instances where the young ladies should never have been admitted as they were perfectly healthy in a matter of days. if no testing no beds filled.  there is no advantage to a thai showing up at a hospital so he and his family can be quarantined, he may lose his job etc...

To put the # of new daily reported cases of COVID in perspective, here is my unofficial tracking since early April this year ... where my sources of information for this are:

    * https://www.facebook.com/83ssj/?__tn__=-UC*F

    * https://mobile.twitter.com/nbtworldnews?lang=en

I also track (for my own interest) Bangkok and ChonBuri - which have been hit much harder (in terms of # of new cases) in this current wave, and their hospitals are close to being overloaded.

okay do you have the testing data?  the number of tests needs to be similar between areas for accurate results

Pcx is better quality. Hold their value. No ABS brakes available. Some 2018 + models have issues with the stators.

Nmax quality is cheaper. Engines have oil passage issues. May require a new piston at 10,xxxkm... Has ABS brakes. Don’t hold their value compared to Pcx.

Both deliver similar power. Looks are subjective. Fuel consumption doesn’t matter on any 150cc bike.

My personal opinion from selling bikes.

I think they may have fixed the oil issue in the later bikes?

The GPX bikes that I have seen look good...but what put me off was the sound  on starting the engine  sounds like a bag of bolts in a cement mixer ????

Yeah the chinese engines sound like tractors very unrefined.  They can be improved by changing the after market exhaust to drown out the valve noise lol.

However, I must give credit to gpx they are creating some interesting bikes but I wonder how the plastic will hold out without fading etc on these bikes.  If the new drone is any indication I don't like the cheap plastic on that bike although the rest of the design is good.

Which bike will best climb a steep 50% incline?

    Honda PCX?

    Honda Click 150?

    Yahama Aerox?

Any of these bikes will climb if not  just put a lighter roller weight in them and a 110 can do it.

I did have a quick look at the Forza, but it a bit too much like a real motorcycle. I just need a scooter and since I need to climb a 50% hill, the logic was to move from the Click to the PCX/Aerox models.

Since you have a PCX, maybe you can answer why the PCX is 14 kg heavier than the Aerox?

    Is the Aerox flimsy?

Yup.  The suspension is not up to the power of the engine or the speed it can generate.

test ride them both and you will be enlightened !

    .

The adv has a good suspension and the aerox does not.  However, going from a step through could make one believe the aerox has a good suspension.

    I agree.

However I also note the Phuket hospitals are not facing the struggles that other Hospitals across Thailand are facing, with hospitals outside of Phuket being swamped with cases.  So while the point about not testing = no cases is good, ... looking at the hospital # of cases, relative to the remainder of the country, does provide another indicator.

So I still maintain, relative to elsewhere in Thailand, Phuket has seen relatively limited number of COVID cases.

many carriers are asymptomatic so why should Phuket be any different than any other place plus it was wide open to the influx of tourists from Wuhan like much of Thailand in the initial stages...

  11. Are Covid tests being done prior to vaccination?  It would only make sense as so many have Covid and are asymptomatic.  If not then we are possibly vaccinated someone who already has Covid.  Additionally we have possible spreaders in what should be a tightly controlled environment.

they are really good at skimming there was probably a budget for a premium tile but these were substituted resulting in a new Merc for the contractor and a nice fat kickback for the civic employee or politician involved but hey now they can do it again and again just like the roads.  rinse and repeat.

We were told that Phuket was Fully vaccinated with at least one jab. One jab of AZ 33% protection against Delta. One jab Sinovac against Delta. China wont say. I am guessing 10 to 15 % protection. Just ask the PM . OH he is in Quarantine in Phuket. You need 2 jabs of AZ or Sinovac to be fully vaccinated

and that doesn't mean much as now a newer variant has popped up and none of the jabs work... wake up folks
