No there would not be an exit stamp as you are still in Thailand - only when exiting Thailand would an exit stamp be placed in your passport.
In the case of having an extension of stay you must visit immigration for transfer of stamps when new passport is returned. If on a normal visa entry of 90 days or less you will take care of the stamps on exit at border.
lopburi, what about the underlying visa that my extension of stay is based on (my non immigrant B visa was issued about 8 years ago in the UK) who would transfer that over to the new passport?
My extension of stay is the old special investment visa that I was grandfathered into.

Is it just me or has the Granada TV Channel disappeared today?

Holysteel, you mention needing a Bangkok Bank Online card for purchasing. I seem to have no trouble using any of my UK credit cards...

But surely all they had to do to keep him alive would have been to open his back, remove the batteries, put the batteries back in after a few seconds and he'd be on his feet again.
...Or bang him against the coffee table a few times.
Apparently his coffin lid has gone missing. So they've had to sellotape him in.

Is this a genetically modified form of the natural fruit?
I am not sure but genetically modified food is great. I mean, just last night I had a delicious leg of salmon.

Advisory: Warning
"Heavy to Very Heavy Rain over Thailand"
No. 13 Time Issued : September 11, 2011
During 11-12 September, the intense monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast of Thailand. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Torrential rain and isolated heavy to very heavy falls are likely much of the country, especially in provinces of Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phetchabun, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Saket, Roi Et, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, Patthalung, Songkhla and Satun. People in risky areas along foothills and waterways are warned of possible flash flood. People in lowlands and riversides in the Central and the East are warned of overflow.
The strong wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand is likely 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 1-2 days.

The Thai lawyer is not the executioner/administrator and has no capacity to dip into the estate. The lawyer sets up a court date (amongst other duties) where I was present and sworn in to become the administrator. Grant of probate is received some weeks later. When you go to the banks for example the bank want to see your passport, a copy of the Will, a copy of the grant of Probate and so on.
Again at the land office the lawyer is only there to facilitate the process.
Unless a lawyer has forged a new Will, obtained grant of probate in his own name then there is little chance of things going wrong. Best advice is to have someone recommend a lawyer for you.
Yes you should have a separate Will for each country one holds assets in.
edit: the banks/land office etc wish to see your original passport, Will and grant of probate issued by the court.

^ erre191, You seem to have a good grasp of what needs to be done.
There is no reason that the Thai lawyer should need to be privy to the value of an estate.
Several years ago I was the executioner/administrator to my friends’ estate. I paid ฿50,000 for the Thai lawyer as the fee. Once the court had provided Grant of Probate I took this to the banks and closed the accounts myself and received cheques. The vehicles were transferred to the beneficiaries. The house deed and condo deeds were transferred. The only extra costs involved were bringing the company accounts up to date and a small tax bill. Then dissolution of the company took place.
This probate had multiple beneficiaries, a house several condos, multiple banks, vehicles and a comapny.
The lawyer that wrote the Will does not need to be the lawyer acting in probate.

I have used a company called Bio Pest Control. No contract needed.
They charge 800 baht for a 250 sq./m condo. I would certainly recommend them.
The owner is 081 150 6080 (Ed) or the office is 038 231 641(Ying)
