Great but that is not a normal occurrence, if they do it everyday that is only what the police should be doing, doubt you will see that again anytime soon! Two days ago, there was a team at each exit point, stopping and fining all the motorbikes that went through........Sent from my SM-G610F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

How can it fail? It's working doing what it is supposed to do, any problems will be caused by the idiots who treat the tunnel as a race track(wow my exhaust sounds so good in this tunnel, let's go faster) the builders have done a fantastic job with the space they had to work with, it's now up to the police to actually do something to make it safe for everyone!!Some people here are just desperate to see things fail so they get that all important I told you so comment in on FB/TV etc...... I hope there are no accidents & that it actually does what it is intended to do ....

Nicky's breakfast far superior to Kallots, tea and orange juice plus 2 slices of bread included in the 220bht price, great breakfast.

Why is it so difficult here!! I found a little law office just down the road from my house I'll go in there and ask if they can do.That's good for her and makes life easier for you.But the ampher officer will only set up a registered will for you if you could speak thai or you bring a certified translator or lawyer.

My Will is very simple, nothing in my home country and nothing other than money in bank accounts here. I'll write it myself and register it with Ampur office, thanks. What would be the point of sending it to yourself by post?you can write a will and file it with your Ampur office. But unless it is really, really simple and involving no property owned etc, getting a lawyer top do it may be advisable.
it is also important to separately consider assets you have in Thailand and those in your home country if any. If you have assets, bank account etc in your home country a separate will tailored to laws there is needed.
Choice of Executor is very important as is keeping that person fully informed of your financial details and updating them when anything changes.

My Thai GF speaks excellent Thai!Did it years ago at the ampher office. Easy and good service. Registered will for only some baht.
But your thai must be good if not forget this route.

Nope that's why I asked you!!
Do you expect me to believe you don't know where your local government office is located.... [emoji849]
We typed it on a Word program in Thai and then used Google translate for me to read in English. No big deal for me. I left her everything. Just a legal document to smooth it all all out. She die first I get everything but we all know property issues.

Could you explain how you did DIY I have no clue how to do. Did you have it translated into Thai and where is the Mayors office? We did the same. But DIY and notarised by the Local Mayor's office. I have every confidence this is good enough here in Thailand.

Thanks, maybe someone will recommend a lawyer for making a Will.Wife and I both made wills some years ago, through a lawyer. Can't comment on the legality of a DIY type will, but my gut feel doesn't recommend it.

Not sure where to ask this so thought someone might have done this in Phuket, can you make a Will yourself or does it have to be done through a Law practise, getting on in yrs now so want to sort this out so should the unthinkable happen the bank will not take it.

Can you hand write a will(with witnesses) then send it to yourself via the post, I read this is accepted?

What is the approx cost of a Stent OP at private hospital and Mission hospital, my Dad had this at about my age and many ex work mates have had it too, I'm due a Stress test in Oct to check if I have any problem, I never get out of breath during exercise so I'm guessing I'm fine but no harm asking questions.

Awesome, thanks! I rent still drive through? If you've never done it before - room 101, documents needed. If you have changed address - room 101, documents needed.
If you have done it before and have the same address, but, have come from abroad - drive through, passport only.

Address registration has to be done in room 101 or can be done at drive through? is power of attorney form plus owners ID copy of house book, copy of rental agreement needed?I provided both as advised by the PIV site and they were accepted. I guess to know whether they were really needed I would have held them in reserve and tried to get my application approved without them, but I didn't try that experiment. [emoji6]

Not the end of the world we all have watches. My guess is that there is no way to change the time at ground level. They'll hope no one notices.

You know that will never happen, majority of people take no notice of prohibited signs and take no notice of the police, difficult to respect the police when they stand at traffic lights playing on there phones taking no notice of people not wearing crash helmets etc oh well that's how it is here, carry on regardless!
BiB really must enforce no bikes and trolleys. REALLY

Has anyone seen the messege displayed on True Visions regarding the satellite position being altered and the set top box needing to be reconfigured before 31st August(all customers) saw the messege very briefly as it scrolled across the bottom of the screen, maybe it's an old messege and nothing to be concerned about.
