  1. I see no issue in having insurance to cover medical inpatient. Unfortunately, I do have an issue with the 40k outpatient. As has been noted - that will be expensive. I will have to check into how much this will be, but I assume it will add 30% or more to my premium.

I have Pacific Cross which is 1.2 million cover but only has 10,000 OPD so have asked how much extra will it cost to increase OPD to 40,000bht if it's to expensive guess I will be leaving!!

  2. I'd try "Chai Auto Sound" (google maps will show you) on the right side of the bypass road heading North, they do a whole lot more than just car stereos.

Chai auto sound is a good choice.owner man can be a bit miserable if you only go into to ask okay if you spend.

  3. It was a fair while ago so I reckon I've got things wrong. The fishing park we went to was some 10k inland of Hua Hin. Very commercial, with plenty of concrete. I was told that it was owned by JW's brother. Only been there the once.

I fish in places near Nong khai and Udon Thani now I've moved that way.

There is a fishing park off the Udon Thani - Sakon Nakon road (about 15k east of Udon) belonging to another John Wilson (not the deceased JW). This has some cracking fish and is not expensive at all. Can't recall the name (think it is Lazania or something similar) but they have a boat on the lake named 'Thaitanic'.

We have eight ponds on one of our farms, and one is kept as a 'pet' pool. Plenty of koi carp and Mekongs up to 1.6 metres long. I am training then to take bread from my hand.

I've been fishing in Udon Thani Leks fishing and ranch, not cheap but fair fishing.

I live in Phuket no fishing here worth mentioning.

  4. I am not aware of a Cha-Am fishery unless you are talking about Wilson's (younger brother of the great JW) place.

When I was there 10 years ago a farang caught a red-tail in the lower pond that must have been close to 50kg. I didn't fish that day, but the wife caught 4 Julian-price carp from the upper pool.

I'm talking about the Thai fishery Cha Am fishing and resort owned by Lek, used to be 3 lakes but Crustys is no longer(not been for a long time) Predator lake for Araipaima and Carp, main lake for all species but not Arry.

I've had over 50 fish in a day, easy fishing but not easy if you want the Monsters.

  5.   Well no, not relatively speaking.  If the OP is already eating regular cereal with milk & sugar, then making the switch to oats is a net improvement, even if the milk & sugar stays the same.  Reducing milk & sugar just means reducing calories, but the OP didn't mention if that was a diet goal or not.

If sweetness is needed to make the oats more palatable, try a bit of sucralose or stevia syrup.

I do not add sugar to anything, I have the Oats with water, banana and sometimes 0% fat yogurt, the only diet goal I have is trying to reduce triglycerides which at my last blood test was 299 down from 350, I expect it to be lower at my next blood test in Oct, my triglycerides were at 150 but a friend came to Thailand for 5 weeks which meant I drank alot and had lots of food I wouldn't normally have eaten.

  6. Its only one factor, in a comprehensive wellness program. What you eat, how you eat and chew, what foods and drinks you combine, what exercise you do, and what you don't do that may negatively affect and drag you down, are all important to consider.
I've got myself into a position where I'm scared to eat and drink anything, everything seems to be bad for you, I walk fast for 1 hr per day, I'm 89kgs 190cms tall, 63yrs old, my fear of eating and drinking is growing, life is difficult but all I can do is do what I think is right.

  7. goodness of the above, really depends on how much Sugars, and of what types of Milk you might swamp it over with?

anyways I supplement it with daily Metamucil (though Fibrogel is also plentifull from TescoLotus etc)

Some people with agendas might scare you from the Oats, because of the good old Gluten it provides you
    Only mix with water.
