IF you can't get the model you want without a Moon-roof and you can add a strong film. Many cars also have aftermarket covers which are thicker. So... IMO.... I wouldn't worry about it too much as you can take measures to minimise any impact the moon-roof has anyway.

IMO - its not a good idea. As much as 'moon-roofs' seem like a great idea in cooler climate's to let light into the car etc... .... the reality in Thailand is that they just let in too much heat. The cover of our moon-roof remains closes 100% of the time... That said - AC in modern cars in Thailand is very efficient and fast. IMO - the AC cools the car quickly within minutes so that aspect is hardly noticeable.... I suspect the best way to know is to run a poll for those who have cars with a moon-roof or sun-roof. 1) Never use it 2) Sometimes use 3) Mostly use it

Agreed..... It seems there is a standard technique of 'balancing' the poles with just part of the 'bottom buried a little' with a few cables supporting them rather than burying them fully so they are self standing. We see it regularly and I've witnessed it first hand - A lorry with something 'sticking up' snags one of lower hanging comms wires and 6 or 7 telegraph / power poles come down like a stack of dominoes and the power goes out until they are replaced. Perhaps authorities know the poles are going to get hit so regularly, so they don't bother making them a permanent fixture !

There have been numerous threads regarding the annoying issue of pop-up-adverts that overwhelm specifically this site when adverts on other sites are nowhere near as prolific. Simple solution: Switch to Brave Browser - that has dealt with 100% of the ads... (I tried with ad blockers on Safari / Chrome / FireFox and nothing worked very well).

So, it gets to the point that no one answers numbers they don't recognise. My Folks in the UK will not answer the Landline.... they have wires phones, but of course they need to be on a charging station. So, someone calls, imagine an 80 year old making the effort to getting up then some ayhole is telling them theres a major issue with their bank and starts asking for details - luckily they're fully compos-mentus and ignore... .... but it happens so often they just don't bother to answer - even though they've registered to have these sorts of calls blocked by the service provider. Well over 50% of the calls I receive over the cell network are 'cold callers' (scam attempt or sales BS).... anyone I know calls through Line, WhatsApp or FaceTime etc... Scammers and cold callers are vermin - I really wish more could be done to deal with them. There is also the issue of wrong numbers - I've had my number for over 15 years, yet I still regularly get 'wrong numbner' but of course the other person never apologises... they just hangup, then call back again 2 mins later.... ...... Going by the response from the idiot on the other 'end' is sometimes my fault for answering the number of the person they were trying to call !!!!....

For someone who frequently leaves their card in the machine, this is a great suggestion. However, being organised enough to 'go through the process of card in machine' is already a step away from the 'degree of autopilot' that results in one leaving the card in the ATM. I don't think this issue is a loss of mental acuity from the Op... It has much more to do with being relaxed, on low alert and functioning on autopilot with complacency. Early on in adult-hood I developed a very simple rule of 3 that covers most options. Using and ATM: 123 1) Card in 2) Cash 3) Card out ... I get into that habit of one two three and mentally state the number at the point of action. Parking the Car: 1) Keys 2) Lock 3) Location The same applies to being at home: I only ever leave things in one of 3 places and make that a habit. The one issue I did have... was for getting my keys... I used to go through the 1,2,3 before going out.. 1) Wallet 2) Phone 3) Keys But then I'd forget the Wife !... Seriously though, I forgot to take out my keys on a number of occasions and for some reason house keys became a weak link. A couple of times I nearly had to get a hotel because I was back late, wife was fast asleep and I can't get in. The 1,2,3 thing didn't work with keys because I was usually taking more than 3 things with me... Wine, football kit, etc. Simple solution there was to go to switch to locks.... Its the same when leaving a bar or restaurant etc... doing the 'pocket pat down' to make sure I still have my Wallet with me. Making behavior a habit so we don't forget things helps a lot... I'm trying to pass this over to my Son... Wife is already a lost cause and is outrageously forgetful. If the AC remote is lost, the first place I go to look is the freezer !!

He needs to be able to prove his address.... that can (and often does) require a longer term visa. Mileage varies and this often depends on Nationality and which immigration office you go to. Ops friend either needs: - Certificate of Address (from Immigration) or - Affirmation of Residence (from his Embassy) Thus: Nationality and location may help with this one.

So what was the agreement between them ? ‘Caretaker’ is a wide term that you are shoehorning into your acceptance of the meaning. Clearly she tried to pop on by the days before but couldn’t get in.
