  1. What he means is..... he wants to cash in on Phuket's popularity and put lots of concrete eyesores over the Island.
  2. @RichardColeman He was Russian not Ukrainian ????
  3. @loong About as strange as thinking a flimsy mask will protect you from a virus or that you even need protection.
  4. @loong Because it's anti social.
  5. @Mac MickmanusFair enough, but some of the comments on here from people who choose to not take drugs, are that they're better than people who take drugs and they have some moral superiority over them.
  6. @ravip couldn't agree more but some of the comments on here from people who choose to not take drugs, are that they're better than people who take drugs and they have some moral superiority over them.
  7. Quite a lot of monks on here by the sounds of it. with their "I have never taken drugs" so perfect! you are truly great role models.
  8. Course it did. it's the only time Thais venture out of their doors. bleeding hermits.
  9. It was always going to go up after songkran as that's the only time of the year the Thais venture out these days. a country full of hermits.
  10. @RichardColeman So, it's never been dry before Monsoon season????
  11. Nowt to do with Songkran. It finished on the 13th in Phuket. Just the usual reckless/drunk driving by Thais unfortunately.
  12. the seatbelts don't even work in most of the coaches and definitely near enough all of them in the deathtrap minibuses.
  13. Don't the masks save them from serious injuries in a car
  14. Fair enough but why wear the shirt? its like dressing up as santa and not actually liking xmas.
  15. @streetlite Try cleaning your ears out
  16. So, funny the criticism on here. I don't know about the other posters on here but the beaches in Thailand especially Phuket are a million times better than my hometown's beach and even the nice beaches in the UK are usually ruined by the abysmal British weather.
  17. @scubascuba3 That's hardly the passenger's fault. as i have been on many a motorbike taxi and they don't even offer you a helmet (yes i know you could insist on one) and i doubt they even have one for a passenger as Thais are very tight people. which always makes me laugh considering they're always calling the foreigners tight. And it might not even be a head injury anyway. so again that would be the drivers fault because no doubt they was driving recklessly or drunk.
  18. The Thai man was probably losing the fight and couldn't have the loss of face so stabbed him
  19. Like the Police all around the world they take the easy jobs. God forbid! they try and catch some real criminals because they might put up some resistance and would possibly be armed.
  20. As long as they're wearing their masks they'll be alright, safety first.????
  21. @SunnyinBangrak Either that or have the wrong price labels on something or not getting the deal they're promoting. etc, etc, etc. And 7 staff are the worse when you point that out, they just look at you dumbstruck. but he still had a completely OTT reaction. whatever it was.
  22. @Yellowtail I think I'm morally superior because i think its a bit out of order to be having a go at a young bloke who could have lost his life and his family are worried sick and i have a bit of empathy. Jog on ya melt
  23. @Yellowtail Not about how much i donated. its about people going out their way just to come on here to say it's his own fault. WTF
