    A student who gets 0% will get the same grade as a student who gets 100%. The absurdity that is Thai Education and the ridiculous notion that failing an exam is losing face (in their very warped sense of losing face) So, they can't have anyone failing otherwise that would mean students losing face. Great way to teach kids about life..... You won't fail at anything.

    Spit on a Thai If russian no problem you're allowed to leave the country and come back to face charges. any other nationality i don't think that would have happened. Still they wanna keep Putin sweet so if it comes to a nuke war they'll be left alone

    As always In Thailand you have to have a certain amount in your bank or be earning a certain amount I think. But the bottom line is cash is involved. Always makes me laugh on here that people comment that 5,6, 7, etc. thousand pound (sterling) isn't a lot of money to have in your bank. well it is to me.

    So, The new 60 days on arrival is it a temporary arrangement? As it usually is with Thailand. They never like to fully commit. And is it just cuz they want to get tourists in during low season and then once high season is upon us will it go back to 30 days?

    Never ever going to happen. there is always a financial catch with visas in general.

    Try it out for me and see how you get on. I'm sure the police would ignore you while you're punching people in front of them , As long as the victims don't complain and don't want charges pressed.

    Although in theory that's right. Surely if i go down the road punching everybody in front of the police they will arrest me and no doubt charge me whether the victims have made a complaint or not?

    Personal choice. Adults can smoke it or they can't. I don't smoke it personally but it isn't doing me any harm that other people are smoking it. So, why are you so bothered? Is it personally affecting you?

    Well according to that passenger there was no warning and I would say at the very least 50% of passengers take their seatbelts off once the light goes off because they always warn you when they about to hit turbulence and to fasten your seatbelts again. But I must admit i find it a bit dubious that there was no warning at all but who knows. Either way whether people had belts on or not it must have been terrifying.

    As i said in a previous comment, They all get a pass mark. So, The teacher who gave her the marks is told to do that. It's a ludicrous policy. Third world behaviour.

    True. It always makes me laugh that people seem to think Thai food is healthy. In general it's fairly unhealthy.

    My assumption from a lot of the comments on here is a lot of you liked school. Because all this talk about being able to question the teachers and critical thinking is foreign to me. When i was at school i didn't want to question the teacher or anyone else to question the teacher. I just wanted the lessons to go as quickly as possible and get to home time and play football. And so did everybody else i know. Only nerds and boffins liked school.

    Everyone seems to be focusing on the critical thinking and not be able to question the teachers. Were as I think the most absurd, ridiculous issue in Thai schools is all students will get a pass mark. That will make so many students lazy and it will also have Thai students thinking that you can go through life without failing at anything. When failing is part of life unfortunately.
