  1. Your enemy is reality.
  2. You guys do love a bit of pearl clutching. A garbage person screems at a kid but quickly gets shut down by a normal person who also think she's a garbage person. But yeah, that's the Dems all summed up in one person. Give me a break.
  3. I agree with you. I think you are garbage too.
  4. It sure is because they are so diametrically opposite it's unreal. Dems didn't really have a problem with past GOP presidents (although we all thought it couldn't get any worse than Bush) but this version of extremism is just too much. We all know the border is a problem - but that won't change with mass deportations and demonisation of a whole swathe of the population. Tarriffs on all countries has been univesally panned as a REALLY bad idea https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-economy-nobel-prize-winners-letter-inflation-warning/. Giving Putin what he wants means at minumum, territory lost for Ukraine and a sovereign nation, backed by a functioning democracy, being not in charge of it's own destiny and the knock on affect on the larger EU block. But I especially hate him treating EVERYTHING like it's some big deal to be done - another mega hotel or the purchase of a golf club which his provelaged upbringing has led him to believe he deserves, that it's his destiny. International politics is far more nuanced than a block of condo's on the beach. Add on the Xenaphobia, the downright racism, the lies, lies and yet more lies and the contest isn't even close. But yeah, she probably giggles a bit more than she should.
  5. So you're vindictive as well as delusional? Like a mini-Trump.
  6. I'm sure you are feeling very self- satisfied in your perceived intellectual superiority (and for a change at least you do bring more to the table than the usual Trump fanboys) but your whole post falls down with the facts. Russian collusion was proven - just ask Paul Manafort or Michael Flynn or any of the seven U.S. nationals, 26 Russian nationals, and one Dutch national convicted because of the Mueller investigation. Putin's puppet - you obviously have forgotten when Trump threw his own intelligence services under the bus in favour of Putin https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-44852812 And as for this assertion that liberals have somehow 'swallowed the bait' when the truth is so much easier than that - all you need to do is actualy listen to Trump. He talks of 'poisoning the blood of our country' and talks openly about the 'enemy within' , openly discussing using the military - 'I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people. Radical left lunatics. I think it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military, because they can’t let that happen,” And finally, no we don't mean "your Democracy where only Democrats win'. We mean democracy in its pursest, unadulterated form - not a dictatorship, not a fascist state, not run by an amoral fraudster and convicted sexual abuser only out for himself and other equally warped individuals. Is that really too much to ask?
  7. And you can be sure if it is a close race in any states, Trump is going to drag this out like you have never seen before. He is already (and has been for some time) setting the groundwork for a 'stolen election' (unless of course he wins and then it's all fair and square). John Oliver hit the nail on the head the other night (go to last 15 mins for bit about Trump and HIS election interference).
  8. Well that's certainly a matter of opinion which would not be shared by the thousands who died of Covid through the conspiratorial nonsense Trump kept coming up with or even the fiancial hawks who saw $8 trillion added to the national debt ($4 trillion through tax cuts) or the US allies who saw him constantly undermine NATO whilst chumming up to dictators or the intelligence services who also saw him undermine them at any available chance or simply those who expected a better medical insurance deal than Obamacare which simply didn't materialise after years of promises (still hasn't come up with one). He was fortunate not to deal with a worldwide inflation problem and had strong jobs growth thanks to Obama (for 2 years at least) so many would say he coasted off the hard work of the previous Dem administration who had to deal with a financial meltdown thanks to Bush and an ill-advised war in Irag and Afghanistan. He was then saved from further scrutiny by Covid which I think even die-hard Trump fans can admitt he handled abysmally. So yeah, would hardly call it 'thrived'.
  9. And your ability to stick your head in the sand and ignore so many red flags is equally remarkable.
  10. You do realise you are comparing unmotivated DMV workers to people literally at the top of their game? I’m sure your little personal anecdote might work in whatever backwater county you come from but this is the people that RUN the US government and are Heads of Staff, Generals, Attorney Generals and even VP’s. Not exactly unmotivated DMV staff. But you cling on to whatever delusion helps you pretend to yourself that Trump isn’t as dangerous as EVERYONE is pointing out to you. But you don’t get to call yourself a patriot at the same time.
  11. There are sooooo many of his former staff that basically say 'for God's sake don't let this man back into the White House' yet all the Trump fan boys just chalk this down to embittered ex-employees - ignoring the fact there has never been in the history of the US so many ex-employees coming out against a former POTUS. These people experienced him first hand and know what he is all about . 'The sheer number of Trump officials speaking out against their former boss, and the severity of their criticism, is highly unusual. It has no historical precedent in the last century, according to three presidential historians and a political scientist interviewed by USA TODAY. “I don’t think we’ve seen anything like this, certainly not in the last 100 years,” said Lindsay Chervinsky, a senior fellow at the Center for Presidential History at Southern Methodist University.' https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/04/12/trumps-critics-former-white-house/73145245007/ Here's a few more;- 1. His vice president, Mike Pence: “The American people deserve to know that President Trump asked me to put him over my oath to the Constitution. … Anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be president of the United States.” 2. His second attorney general, Bill Barr: “Someone who engaged in that kind of bullying about a process that is fundamental to our system and to our self-government shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office.” 3. His second secretary of defense, Mark Esper: “I think he’s unfit for office. … He puts himself before country. His actions are all about him and not about the country. And then, of course, I believe he has integrity and character issues as well.” 4. His first secretary of state, Rex Tillerson: “(Trump’s) understanding of global events, his understanding of global history, his understanding of US history was really limited. It’s really hard to have a conversation with someone who doesn’t even understand the concept for why we’re talking about this.” 5. His first ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley: “He used to be good on foreign policy and now he has started to walk it back and get weak in the knees when it comes to Ukraine. A terrible thing happened on January 6 and he called it a beautiful day.” 6.. His presidential transition vice-chairman, Chris Christie: “Someone who I would argue now is just out for himself.” 7. His second national security adviser, HR McMaster: “We saw the absence of leadership, really anti-leadership, and what that can do to our country.” 8. His third national security adviser, John Bolton: “I believe (foreign leaders) think he is a laughing fool.” 9. His second chief of staff, John Kelly: “A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law. There is nothing more that can be said. God help us.” 10. His former acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, who resigned as US special envoy to Ireland after January 6, 2021: “I quit because I think he failed at being the president when we needed him to be that.” 11. One of his many former communications directors, Anthony Scaramucci: “He is the domestic terrorist of the 21st century.” 12. Another former communications director, Stephanie Grisham: “I am terrified of him running in 2024.” 13. His secretary of education, Betsy DeVos, who resigned after January 6: “When I saw what was happening on January 6 and didn’t see the president step in and do what he could have done to turn it back or slow it down or really address the situation, it was just obvious to me that I couldn’t continue.” 15. His secretary of transportation, Elaine Chao, who resigned after January 6: “At a particular point the events were such that it was impossible for me to continue, given my personal values and my philosophy. 16. His first secretary of the Navy, Richard Spencer: “…the president has very little understanding of what it means to be in the military, to fight ethically or to be governed by a uniform set of rules and practices.” 17. His first homeland security adviser, Tom Bossert: “The President undermined American democracy baselessly for months. As a result, he’s culpable for this siege, and an utter disgrace.” 18. His former personal lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen: “Donald’s an idiot.” 19. His White House lawyer, Ty Cobb: “Trump relentlessly puts forth claims that are not true.” 20. A former director of strategic communications, Alyssa Farah Griffin, who is now a CNN political commentator: “We can stand by the policies, but at this point we cannot stand by the man.” 21. A top aide in charge of his outreach to African Americans, Omarosa Manigault Newman: “Donald Trump, who would attack civil rights icons and professional athletes, who would go after grieving black widows, who would say there were good people on both sides, who endorsed an accused child molester; Donald Trump, and his decisions and his behavior, was harming the country. I could no longer be a part of this madness.” 22. A former deputy press secretary, Sarah Matthews, who resigned after January 6: “I thought that he did do a lot of good during his four years. I think that his actions on January 6 and the lead-up to it, the way that he’s acted in the aftermath, and his continuation of pushing this lie that the election is stolen has made him wholly unfit to hold office every again.” 23. His final chief of staff’s aide, Cassidy Hutchinson: “I think that Donald Trump is the most grave threat we will face to our democracy in our lifetime, and potentially in American history.” https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/03/politics/donald-trump-former-allies-what-matters/index.html
  12. Do you reckon she'd be able to construct a proper paragragh though?
  13. 'Neutral observer' 😀😀 Well I prefer my candidates to not be a felon or a sexual predator or indeed someone who defrauds their own charity. But that's just me I suppose.
  14. And if it doesn't go like that will you and your fellow Trump fanboys come on AN and gracefully accept the results? No crying 'fix!' No storming of The Capaitol? No demands of a recount or attempting to strong-arm individuals just to find a few thousand votes? Will you commit to a civilised acknowledgement of the will of the people (just like Brexit) with no other repurcussions? Or will you go the way of Illisdean (above) who has told us what he is going to do with statements such as 'stands no chance of beating Trump without huge election fraud.' P.S. Rhetorical question because we all know what you and your fellow Trumpers are going to do.
  15. Here's one that you might not just dismiss out of hand knowing your political leanings North Korean defectors expose human rights violations to United Nations, ask for further investigation | Fox News
  16. The first is the Financial Times, there's also the Washington Post but I could post a dozen more but I'm not here to do your homework. You obviously refuse to acknowledge what the majority of the world agrees in that N.Korea is a dictator state that oppresses it's own people and has one of the worst human rights records in the word. This insistence that anyone not of your opinion is somehow in a massive conspiracy is just....weird! Anyone, this is massively off topic so this is the last I'll post on the matter. With any luck it'll be your last post................. ever.
  17. Here educate yourself 'Since the family’s failed escape attempt, Kim Jong Un had solidified his power, revealing a malicious Machiavellian streak few predicted. His uncle, one of the country’s most powerful men and regent to the young ruler, was executed in 2013. His aunt, believed to have been pivotal in charting his ascent, disappeared from public view. His estranged half-brother was assassinated with a nerve agent in a Malaysian airport in 2017. For Kim, defectors were traitors. The kingdom’s borders were fortified with more barbed wire, border guards and patrols. Punishments for escape became increasingly ruthless'. Two North Korean defectors: a tale of secrets, lies and love (ft.com) A family's escape from North Korea through a minefield and stormy seas (bbc.com) I escaped North Korea when I was 13. The desperation still haunts me. | Vox North Korean refugees share stories of resettling in South after war - Washington Post
  18. Oh for gods sake, I don't need western media to tell me about KJU. There are actual refugees who have escaped N. Korea who can testify to all the terrible things he has done to his people. Forced labour camps, whole families jailed because of the actions of one member, famine, rape, torture, murder and complete indoctrination. The guy is a dictator of the highest order and the only naïve people regarding him seem to be you and Trump.
  19. Well I think this tells us everything we need to know about you. You are so far down the rabbit hole you’ll even defend Kim Jung-hyun in your “crusade” against MSM. So you don’t believe CNN when they said he tried to kill his sister but do you believe he got 18 hole in ones in one round of golf and can speak to dolphins?
  20. And whilst you are feeling so strongly about the effects of devastating weather events then I'm sure you won't be backing a candidate that doesn't believe in global warming and actively does his level best to counter any attempts to mitigate it, preferring to 'drill baby, drill!' https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/drill-baby-drill-donald-trump-oil-gas-rnc/story?id=112108980
  21. Enough of the pearl clutching and using a tragedy to try and make a cheap point. My post was saying they are not STILL dying.
  22. Absolute and utter nonsense. No one is still dying. Stop the completely made up fear mongering or post a link that proves what you are saying.
  23. Never go full tin-foil. Never! If Kamala had done a 1/10th of what we KNOW Trump has done, you and the rest of the Trump fan boys would be frothing at the mouth. Why is it that the Dems need a perfect walk-on-water candidate when you lot can put up a lying, thieving, sexual predator and felon, stick a red cap on it and say 'that'll do'! p.S. It's not her job to help hurricane victims but the good news is it's Bidens and he seems to be doing a great job according to REPUBLICANS; 'Republican South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster said at a Tuesday press conference that federal assistance had “been superb,” noting that Biden and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg had both called and told him to let them know whatever the state needed. McMaster added that the administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Deanne Criswell, had also called. He said, “So we’re getting assistance, and we’re asking for everything we need.” Fact check: Amid bipartisan praise for Biden hurricane response, Trump falsely claims reviews are ‘universally’ negative | CNN Politics
  24. So you have an issue with her trying to help the middle class and families at the expense of billionaires and corporations because that's exactly what she is saying here. There's nothing 'woke' about trying to help the VAST majority of Americans. That's what a POTUS should do, whereas Trump is already talking about even more tax deductions for the super rich and corporations. The last one one cost over $2 TRILLION, god knows how much the next one will be.
