If one regularly drives on the highways here there are three constant culprits with lead feet on the gas pedal, Pick up trucks, Benz and BMWs. Problem number one: Most people don’t pay the fines with no ramifications. Easy solution is a national DMV data base whereas registrations, license plates, driver’s license, etc cannot be renewed until fines are paid with penalties. Number2: I see an increasing number of tags whited out so numbers are illegible to the camera. When caught, remove the offending plates, front and back, issue a ticket with a substantial fine and have a computer entry in the above data base.

Hello, they can’t even enforce a simple helmet law. Food delivery madmen zoom around heeding no traffic laws whatsoever, throttle in one hand, phone in the other. Get real, this will never be enforced unless a cop sees a farang doing so and smells money.

First of all, it is virtually impossible to spread or contract Covid while riding anything outdoors be it a motorcycle a horse, or a pogo stick. Every time I see an idiot zooming around wearing a useless mask but no helmet I marvel at the sheer stupidity of it all.

My guess is that a very, very high percentage of the motorcycle fatalities and injuries involved persons not wearing helmets. I would further suggest that the same percentage of those riders were wearing a useless face mask.

This is getting so boring. Can we talk about something else and stop all the hand wringing over Covid in general? Pretty soon we’ll be counting flu cases, common colds, sniffles and pink eye.

For the last couple of years this government has been scaring the pants off of an already superstitious and in many cases poorly informed population. Now they’re telling these same folks not to panic! Better to remain silent and be thought a fool………
