Almost. Mine jumped from ~3,800 for the previous month to ~6,300 for this month.

I like Ali Express because the website is better built and much more functional, readable and reliable than Lazada or Shopee. No issues with language translation. No glitches with payment gateways that suddenly stop working at certain hours, etc. I use the site whenever I want to order something I’m not in a hurry to receive.

I fell for the "no meter" scam once on my first visit to Thailand. It was probably my own fault as I wasn't playing heads-up football, i.e., jumped in the taxi and didn't notice the absence of a meter until the car was already stuck in traffic on Sukhumvit. In any event, I had to chuckle when all was said and done because the driver only asked for 200 THB (~$6 USD at the time) for a trip from JJ to Thonglor and acted like he'd gotten over on me. ????

Yeah, I'm sure this will be enough to deter everyone. /sarcasm

It’s true that you can order from Shopee via the desktop site, but there are some functions which seem to be only available when using the app, e.g., requesting refunds.
