Thank you for your reply.
I have a feeling they may question me further as well:
I have never worked here (Thailand). I have lived here year-round for about 12 years. I do not pay tax in the UK or here.
The form does not appear to take into consideration the fact that people in my situation exist.
I have had a bank account with the Nationwide for 10 years - when I retired to Thailand aged 51. It (the bank account) is registered in England at my parents address. I have not received one of these. Is this the reason why? or are your accounts also registered at an England address.

I think they mean the circumstances - considering they don't know who he is then that is not surprising!!

You know this is headed to a Congressional investigation where your hero, Trump, is going to have to divulge his tax returns proving he is indebted to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars to Russian banks. The guy is going to be impeached within months of being inaugurated.
Trump is not my hero - Putin is becoming one!! He is the most able politician out there, bar none!!
He is running rings around everyone else basically controlling the game. What else would you expect from someone regarded as being the most powerful and influential person in the world!!

Great point - i think that you may be on to something!!

OK, so Russian bankers who loaned money to Trump, at the direction of Putin, hired hackers in Kyrgyzstan to nick the emails of the Dem and GOP party leaders and then send the hacked emails to Assange. Does that seriously change the story? You're a tool.
Not unless you can find and provde genuine links proving every step in the chain you have mentioned took place!!
Putin is a genius or completely innocent so it is a win-win for him!! What is Obama going to do, challenge him to a duel. What a cry baby he is - he is making himself look stupid.

Assange states categorically that the WikiLeaks information did NOT come from Russia.
I bet Putin is loving this and has a huge smirk on his face - he is turning into a bit of a hero to me!!
Obama is threatening Putin over something whereby he has no proof of his accusation. He had better hurry up because Putin's pal will be running the country soon!!

Your anti-American stance blinds you to the reality of what's happening there.
Where was I being anti-American? I know what's happening there - it is peaceful for a change!! I'm surprised that you don't support this - thanks should go to Putin for creating this situation!!

I am glad that the war has resolved itself in Aleppo. I don't like Assad and all he stands for, but it is the rebels that have caused all of the problems and now they have been pushed out, peace should return in Aleppo. Putin shows yet again that he is the most powerful and influential person in the world. He is very astute and extremely skillful when it comes to politics and strategy. On the world stage there is no one who comes even close. I am not surprised at his (86%) popularity ratings!!

Lock the druggie idiot up and don't call on Australia to shed a tear you idiot.
Hemp shouldn't be illegal - it is one of the most powerful natural drugs out there, helpful in so many diseases including autoimmune diseases and cancer!! The drugs that should be made illegal are the ones doctor's prescribe for you as they cause more deaths in the US than road accidents (and that is at the prescribed doses as given by the doctor) - just over 100,000 a year. How many people die from taking medical cannabis?

Yes!! So much for the mocking by those that keep on parroting "this government is all talk and does nothing to tackle corruption"!! Their opinions seem a little outdated now, making them look rather foolish and ignorant in the process. Keep it going Prayut, bit by bit, Island by Island, National park by National park - It doesn't matter who they are, if they are not supposed to be there then clear them out and move them on!!

Very hard to eat anything that isn't contaminated. the amount of doxy is practically infinitesimal. Fish is mostly contaminated with heavy metals and antibiotics. The salmon that comes out of Norway is near poison. the farmed tilapia out of Vietnam same. Veggies here in Thailand. Most come from China. Good luck trying to avoid stuff. Unless you have a Rockefeller bank account and or grow your food.
Best is to keep your self as healthy as possible so your immune system can fight of cancers like it does in most healthy people.
Excellent post!!

glad to know you stopped eating meat, yes america is a messed up country, people need to understand that wild meat or meat 100 or 1000 years ago is not the same as the cheap factory farmed meat they eat today, make sure you take a b12 supplement if your a vegan/vegetarian, check out http://nutritionfacts.org/
It's OK, I have been vegetarian (well, pescatarian actually) as I eat fish, for 20 years. I am in several health groups on FB and have carried out health research for a long while now. I have educated myself on health and all of the conditions I had (there were numerous) have all cleared up now including my 'incurable' ulcerative colitis that dogged me for 30 years!! I am in a better place now than I could ever have imagined I would be.

Sometimes, I get to thinking that many doctors are only taught how to prescribe pills!
I know a number of Thais who appear to panic if they become ill.
Will visit the nearest Dr and expect to walk away with a bag of pills - and they do!
Then they will serially visit various hospitals and clinics and every time get the bag of pills! My wife got anti sickness pills from two sources, along with other pills that must not be taken with the anti sickness meds - Go figure!
The anti sickness pills were 40mg from one source and 10 mg from another.
When the problem dragged on I read up on the pills with Google and encouraged her to stop all the meds, including the obligatory antibiotics that all sources supplied her with, again different ones and different strengths! This was in Thailand.
We returned to Spain and there they diagnosed a problem with low stomach acid which was burning her esophagus - not a bacterial throat infection at all!!!!!!!
Just who can you trust?
Glad to say that her problem has been resolved with a slight lifestyle change.
Again, you are spot on - I haven't had or needed a doctor for getting on for 10 years. They are puppets of big pharma and basically useless once the diagnosis of the problem has been established. I am my doctor and heal myself with food. Over rated profession really as far as I'm concerned. The only real doctors are holistic ones as they are not beholden upon big pharma and understand crucial aspects of health such as nutrition and the paramount importance of the gut microbiome!! Doctors don't heal people anyway, we heal ourselves, our body is amazing at doing this. A professional is only as good as the tools he has and this is where main stream doctors failing lies. Synthetic drugs are useless as all they do is treat the symptoms, often as you say, requiring additional drugs several times over to deal with the side affects of previously given drugs and the unwelcome baggage of the side affects they bring with them.
Side affects are the body's way of expressing that you have something alien in the body that shouldn't be there so lets attack these foreign chemicals and create mayhem in the body whilst we're at it!!

Perhaps it's the advertising hype from Big Pharma that teaches people to expect that a pill is always there to cure all ills?
I wonder if the Students will stress that 80% of antibiotics are used in the farming industry on the animals we eat.
Thereby giving us a trace dose every time we consume their products.I read that a trace dose can cause sensitivity whereas a largeer clinical dose taken over a week to 10 days should not?
You have summed it up perfectly - no further discussion required!!

You CANNOT avoid it. It is everywhere and quite possibly the supplier in this case. It's a virtual monopoly.
I don't eat any CP produce as I don't eat processed food - haven't for 9 years now and they have been the healthiest days of my life.

I'd rather eat organic vegetables than eat sick animals that need antibiotics just to live a short time for slaughter
Yes, I am the same, don't eat meat anymore!!
If they repeated this exercise in the US and included checking for glyphosate, dicambia and antibiotics they would be forced to shut the entire restaurant industry in the US down!! You can't find decent uncontaminated food in America, it doesn't exist. You are absolutely right in what you say - 80% of AB use is on animals and is the reason why they are of little use now . I would use natural antibiotics found in food if I had an infection, thing is I don't and won't get one so there is no need!!

I have severed all ties to the UK but simply have my Nationwide account registered there to collect my company pension. I have been withdrawing it for 10 years from an ATM in Thailand now on a monthly basis so they must assume that I don't live in the UK
