Ridiculous and unenforceable.
Will it be mandatory to own a smart phone? If it is, are all types covered (Android, iPhone, Windows mobile etc.?) is there an app version for each?
Will it be mandatory to always have a data balance or is the "government" giving out free data plans?
Will it be an offence not to carry the phone, or for it to run out of battery power or any of a host of other issues that affect phones?
Stupid is, as stupid does I guess.

Simply state that if China does not give full cooperation, then it must be assumed that this was either a pre-meditated biological attack by China, or they inadvertently allowed somethingto escape one of their many bio labs.

I think that few of would bemoan the fate of the Tuk-Tuks and their drivers.
Whilst an icon in Thailand's public tourism image, the reality is that the majority of Tuk-Tuk drivers have, for many years, abused this and used this as a means to aggressively rip off tourists whilst promoting the sex trade to the point of pimping!
As far as I am concerned, this would be a good time to cancel them all and the drivers can go <deleted> themselves and learn to make an honest living somewhere.
Rant over

Why do some get so hung up on this? Every major city in the world has 'prostitution'.
I am from London, and in the heart of the tourism centre of the West End in Soho is one of London biggest Red Light district. Tokyo, Sydney, Delhi, Paris, New York all have prostitution. Hell most major cities prostitution is legal - be it Amsterdam, German cities, Las Vegas !
Thailand is not the only city with prostitution. Get over it !
Ahhhh, the famous city of Thailand!!

The guy didn't know which planet he was on.
Why the necessity to blab on about a 10 million baht house?
What a load of nonsense, the people accustomed to these kind of surroundings would not have the need to draw attention to it.
He didn't seem that drunk when he fairly leapt the wall and sprinted from one end of the house to the other.
A little bit of Hollywood being used, I'd say.
Cut his balls off and send him home.
Next!

It was a scene of chaos yesterday as I was coming home. Ambulance staging area transfering bodies, I counted five ambulances. I did not see the accident but it was clear the truck driver just plowed into the scooters at speed.
He didn't seem to be going that fast in the video. Combined speed is a killer though (and a drunk at the wheel).

I was working in Yangon and came home for a couple of weeks at the end of March and I got stuck here too.
I managed to do some remote work but that got cancelled when it was obvious this was going to last a long time.
Then I got a bequest from my mother's estate so I sold up in Bangkok, moved North, built a new house and bought land.
Unfortunately I have run out of parents to leave me money in their wills so I have cashed in a military pension and am getting by with that, building/selling property and some online business.
I think the UK government should do more for us, like giving us (rich, dying) extra parents when we REALLY need them!!

Excellent....I want household solar here in Thailand...for me though, the battery storage costs are very expensive. Sure..lead acid batteries can be used, but an all in one Tesla type system is just out of reach for me.
I have just bought 3KW of panels, the batteries are the largest expense, to be sure but the 3KW into my household supply will certainly reduce my consumption from the grid.

Still something of an underpayment I think. I'd rather burn the electricity with an AC in the garden than sell it at that rate.
How much do you pay for a unit (Kw/Hr?) in those regions?

They are flip flopping on this now due to outrage on social media. Wait and see what the interpretation of the rules is going to be.
It won't make any difference.

Agreed. At this point, testing should only be a deterrent to entry (e.g. it limits how many will go through the trouble of coming here.) The real focus should be on vaccination. If you want to stay, vaccinate. Anti-vax or can't/won't pay for one? Leave.
Agreed.
With his Thai experience, he really should know better.

What is this nonsense?
In the same day they claim that one province alone reported 335 cases in Samut Sakhon.
So in the rest of Thailand there were less than 40 cases?
Frikkin rubbish.
They wonder why no-one takes them seriously.
Muppets.
