This is a common issue basically with most low to mid range tv sets similar to this issue below. Call it ghosting, light bleeding and used to be common with edge lit screens but now is common even with back lit screens. (https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/tv/isn-t-this-abnormal/td-p/578946) My TV in australia has it, and more recently I bought an 85 and 75 inch Samsung tv in pattaya from home pro. took them home, set them up and bam all these white patches only when watching in pure dark and only for movies with 16:9 (not full screen movies). i complained, got samsung to my condo with a new 85 and 75 inch tv (This was a huge mission with the 85 inch tv fyi) plugged them in and had the same issues show up on the new tvs. I ended up getting agreement to refund / exchange the tvs and accepted this is common on all cheaper tvs. In the end i did the following 1) In bedroom i swapped the 75 samsung for a top of the line 65" sony for the same price (ie i didnt want to spend another 20k to get the 75 sony). This basically fixed the issue 99.9% and now i can watch movies in my room without this annoying ghosting 2) The 85 i didnt bother taking the new one and didnt want to replace it so i just left it as is. The ghosting is still there but it has reduced. I suggest you get the shop you bought it from to raise the case with samsung, samsung will come and verify the issue (it will be in the day so make sure all light sources are gone) and then they will authorise the shop to bring you a new tv. Then you can test the new tv and most probably itll have the same issue. You can either put up with it, refund or get a better model. BTW what model did you get? My friend works for a privatised national company which does publish their financials but otherwise not sure how this works without asking company accountant. This is still what is confusing me. The sticker I have in my passport as i attached above is a 10 year multiple entry visa.. I will be back and forward 15 times before the 5 years is up. Now i understand they will stamp me for 5 years and when that expires ill return and will i get denied another stamp? The sticker is still valid as multiple entry... Assuming its denied or something is said and i need to do something with BOI what is the artefact from BOI which is required as the sticker already has 10 year period in it... Specficially as per below: 1) I enter on Feb 10 and get a 5 year stamp either finishing on 6th Jan 2028 or 10th feb 2028.. 2) Everytime i re-enter being a multiple entry the stamp will always have the same end date.. 3) If i arrive on the 1st Jan 2028 will i only have 5 or 39 days to exit the country or if the time to the last is below a year ill get 5 years? 4) If i reapply to BOI and get the extension, what apart from the below sticker will i be exactly showing immigration as my sticker states 10 years.

Understand but after 5 years? Or 4.5 years….. if the sticker says 10 years how can they reject a visa issued for 10 years. if right now all I have is a sticker to give to immigration, how will they know or not know once 5 years pass….. maybe they don’t even know yet. What is printed on the Evisa?

In sydney EVISA was not available and we were able to attain stickers which state a ten year visa. How can this be now terminated after 5 years if we do not meet conditions?

I did consider doing the visa in thailand for 50k baht but when my 50kg on luggage i usually hop into a car for 1000b to my condo in pattaya i would need to get a taxi to a hotel for a night or 2, a night out in cowboy / nana and then a taxi down to pattaya would end up costing me 10k. Happy to seal the deal and get my visa ASAP. I can also see when the AUD Drops, the value becomes better to do it at home.

Quick update: Went to thai embassy Sydney to do my visa today. Steps: 1) get letter from BOI and print out 2) Fill in this form (https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/mEsUwBHzx5/เอกสาร/Visa_application_form_as_of_4_April_2022.pdf) and print out 3) Go to thai embassy (no booking required for LTR) with BOI Form, visa form (No input for LTR but leave blank) and passport. 4) Go to information, tell them LTR and get ticket to wait in line 4) Give paper to agent and pay fee ($3045 INC Fees) 5) Get slip to pick up in under a week 6) Go to thailand
